What are the "Suzy and Miss A" situations in Kpop, and how did those come about?

I've heard that JYP wanted to avoid another "Suzy and Miss A" situation. What are some other instances of those happening, and how did they even come about?

Hyuna and friends is another case. She originally debuted as a wonder girls members but after she left jyp and joined cube, cube specifically created a gg centered around hyuna and that’s how 4minute came to be. Hyuna debuted solo literally less than a year after 4minute debuted lol

Hyolyn and Sistar.

Soyeon and Idle, feels like it's growing into a sameish situation.

It's usually when the popularity of 1 member starts to far outpace the popularity of the other members, and the company increases it by focusing on faciliating all opportunities for that 1 member while holding back the other members.

Suzy and Miss A was an extreme example of that situation. But JYP Entertainment needed it at that time, JYP basically openly admitted that Suzy was what kept his company floating in the bad years and thanked her for it.

This is completely not true at all. Soyeon is nowhere near the star power of Suzy or Eunwoo, and other Idle members are mucb better than just some nugus. Yuqi has been around doing plenty of variety and Miyeon is also doing variety and the MC of a music show. They dont just give u the role if ur some nugu behind Soyeons shadow.

Same goes for Sistar. Soyou is known for her unique vocals and collabs, and also appears in a lot of variety shows. Bora is a popular member as well. Hyolyn is like the leader and most wellknown member but its far from the Suzy/Miss A situation.
