But they're bgs, they're not known to rule the charts outside Big bang and BTS (which they even struggle sometimes). So that's normal. If they had flop Album sales then it's different story since bgs are very strong there.
Ggs overall are much stronger than bgs in digitals (though some groups do well with physicals in recent years too) so that's what they're compared with. If a gg sucks digitally then they're pretty bad

Itzy is still a top group whatever you say. They're more known among international fans than aespa themselves. It's true that they're not doing well this comeback but still didn't affect their popularity yet. At least jyp didn't over media played them or shoved them over people's mouth. They're doing well at their own pace.

Ive have supassed Itzy internationally and will pass them in notoriety in 1 year. Aespa already have passed Itzy’s level as well. And huge cope on the mediaplay as Ive have even less.

At this point it isn't even Aespa that Itzy fans should be concerned about. Nmixx gonna take all the newer 4th gen JYP younger fans in the future and Twice all renewing means 3rd gen JYP fans will prioritize/stay with Twice. JYP as like every kpop company is gonna put all resources into their newest group and please their top group which is Twice. So I guess you are right in a odd way, JYP can't shove ITZY down peoples mouth because no1 cares, ITZY already peaked and there just isn't the same interest as their debut years. There isn't any media play that can be done for Itzy because there isn't anything for JYP to brag about.
JYP did ITZY dirty though, Debuted to early for 4th gen, then debut a newer group who actually have a vocal line and healthy mix of skills not just 4 dancers and one poor vocal . There is only so much you can do with a group with very lacking vocals, literally past few ITZY TT's have all been the same generic stale sound. BUT ATLEAST THEY HAVE GOOD DANCERS!!"!" Too bad JYP didn't even give them a good dance break or anything that could go viral. But atleast JYP showed up for the TIKTOK am sure ITZY fans are super happy.
