In the end, did Blackpink or Twice win?

Blackpink did become a bigger name, but they rarely get to release music. Even their solos are limited to 2 songs. Meanwhile, Twice just all renew, which mean their contract must be pretty good, Nayeon song is smashing, she gets lots of promo and the sales are good, the other members' solos probably will follow. They are about to release their 11th mini album next month. In the end, who has the better career?

BP, their group still has a fresh image because of lack of songs and company has established themselves as soloists. They can confidently leave the company anytime and if they decide to say its a win for them since BP is still huge.

Twice? Jyp will continue to overwork them and we dont know if they'll be allowed to do individual activities since they'll be busy touring and group activities.

I wish the best for both groups. JYP must have promised a lot to keep Twice, I hope YG has to do the same to keep Blackpink. But I don't understand how re-signing their contract means Twice "wins". It means their career isn't over. I think the time for a post-mortem is once the groups stop being active, not now. But this is yet another one of those posts. You know a Blackpink comeback is happening, you hate that it will do well and break records again and have another record breaking tour, so you're taking your jabs before the timer runs out. Cool.

Are you for real? Onces getting too bold. Blackpink's success humbled you guys before, and they will do it again. Twice has nothing on Blackpink. You're lucky YG holds them back.

Well, almost two years without music but really big numbers for BP. So i will say Bp won, but blinks lose.

Currently? BP easily. BP destroy Twice in every metric like sales, social media, individual careers and so on. And they still have yet to make a CB so things could go even higher.

Blackpink is winning, and Chloe can simply explain why.

Twice having many releases is a win mostly for onces. The real purpose of music is to advertise for brand deals, sponsorships, and secure a fandom for large scale touring - all of which Blackpink has managed to do with significant less work than Twice.

So Blackpink wins because they were able to better reach the same goal without overworking themselves like Twice.

Blackpink has huge touring power and a shit ton of cfs and expensive brand deals that flys them out all over the world to attend events in private jets and yadda yadda while JYP is hearding Twice into the practice room 24/7 without rest.

Whoever have more fan wins. All the threads concerning groups vs groups, but it should really be fans vs fans. If a song is bad but alot of fan stream it, then what beats the competitor isn't the song but the number of fans.

This "humble" talk from blinks is so corny. Are you not embarrassed? In the end only once win since they actually get content and twice interaction. Getting ad photos and 1 vlive/weverse message once it's time to sell something is not interesting to me.

All this bragging about someone's achievements that are not theirs, just exposes bp's fans' personal issues (and yes, had the roles been reversed, I would've said the same thing about once).

Bp wins achievements wise wins and once win since they are well fed.

If you seem to think the point of my post was to insinuate people cant enjoy their jobs then I have to tell you, you outta stop assuming things.

You do realize that the rate in which Twice (and most Kpop idols for that matter) release music is not normal right? That South Korea has a history of overworking their employees, and idols especially, are known to be pushed to the very limit of exhaustion and injury by their companies? But yeah, I'm sure these idols who most times don't even get an actual input into their projects don't suffer mentally from stress, anxiety, and other complications. They just love to serve their companies' corporate greed like machines.

Meanwhile, blackpink has the luxury of releases music like most Western artists with a loose schedule that actually allows them sufficient rest and time to both live their lives and enjoy their jobs to the fullest. I'm sure Blackpink aren't crying over less time in the studio when they can show up to work when ready and have fun partying in LA or Paris.

BP, Twice had to sign that contract since they know they can't ddo shit without JYP, if BP leaves they are set to be 4 succesful ladies on her own, Twice can't do that. And the parasocial shit of kpop is dumbass, no one is winning that
