Is "Chestfeeding" a better term to use than "Breastfeeding"?

it's probably cause im used hearing the term breastfeeding, but chestfeeding sounds really weird

I think breastfeeding sounds more accurate.

Some people do see it as gendered. That "breasts" are female. This is false and a "who even cares" kind of thing, but for some reason we still have to appease baby boomer social perceptions (even if newer generations dgaf). Eventually, I think we'll move out of it. But for now, social conventions still hold sway, even if they're wrong.

I breast fed and that’s what it is so breast feeding is the more appropriate name.
