BTS solos aren't getting the same support.

Don't expect the same results, they're not getting the same support. Have a look at this, even V supposedly the most popular one wasn't supported by this fandom. I'm scared for jhope I hope lollapalooza expands his fandom.

That's why I'm not expecting armys to go all out for tae despite being him being my bias and one of the most popular member . I experienced SN and CT both I'm a strong soldier 😂. Just chill and support them, don't care about the numbers. At the end of the day it's art that matters.

He's not fandoms' favourite. He's just there, as the most popular fandom. Go visit army twt they literally only remember him when they want to hype other members and compete with groups. Most of them cannot even name his solo songs. And I'm sure if Lisa wasn't there pfw they wouldn't have hype that appearance either.

How was V not supported when he debuted 79 on hot 100 in January? And it was a christmas release. Jin debuted bubbling under. Jimin didn't even debut on hot100 and jk's ost was at 95 (BB rules had changed for jikook) Despite of having a solid start on Spotify JK's ost still not able to cross CT, IT doesn't have a longevity that CT has.

CT charted alost 6 months in melon and has 170M gaon digital points. when jin's ost was out of charts in 3 days and jk's in a month. Jimin's struggling and never entered top50 melon.

But we can argue that jk's was not for a kdrama and others didn't have good spotify playlisting like jk had.

A song doing well will have lots of factors going for it not just the popularity of the members. The least popular member or least talented member can do well if given a good song, good hype and promo so that GP knows you're releasing a song, good concept and good support from the company.

I love tae and i am his stan, i know he did better than other vocal line in their last ost releases but i know the song he releases will have an audience and it might not be as big as others doing pop music. And that's okay, they all should have their own fanbase and audience.. big or small but they will tune in for your music. That's all should matter for BTS. And if any new stans are thinking of stanning TAE after the PFW please know the kind of music he makes before stanning and expecting pop? or commercial music from him. He loves jazz, ballads and likes to make soothing kind of music so not your typical k-pop music.

Dude solo stans are always victimising their favs. The only reason SA did better than CT or WY on international platforms was because it featured 2 bts members suga and jk. It was pushed by bighit, not because jk or sg are the fav members but because it was their webtoon so they promoted it. SA also came out on fri so people streamed since they could push it on BB. Unlike SA or WY that came out on Sunday.

Neither singularity nor stigma were pop, armys like pop songs that's why euphoria and filter did good both are go friendly pop songs. They claim they like hip hop but that's a pure lie. I'm a jazz fan and I love stigma, a huge fan. I hope Tae doesn't care about armys and release whatever he wants he'll gain his audience. I want him to collaborate with critically acclaimed artists.

it depends on the songs. armys are diverse as a fandom and there're songs they like or dislike, can't ask the same effort for different songs. it's not rocket science, just common sense.

V stans definitely take the cake for the most annoying subfandom, without fail they manage to turn every conversation into a bitchfest about how their poor bias isn’t supported.

Is BTS your first kpop group? The group and the company know that there will be a range of success and sales in the solos - a Jisoo solo will not sell as well as a Jennie solo and a Suho solo will not sell as well as a Baekhyun solo. More popular members will sell more (particularly if they are making gp-friendly music), but at the end of the day, any company is looking for multiple revenue streams and trying to reach as many parts of the market as possible. Soloists don't typically sell as much as groups, with a few exceptions, so if one soloist is killing it and a million+ seller, but the others are doing platinum (by Korean standards), that is still success and provides long-term options for the company and the members, through enlistment and beyond.

Taehyung never cared about the charts. If he did, he would be making radio/chart friendly songs but never once he tried doing that and stuck to what he liked.

About stigma, yes even though i didn't see that kind of vibe from his demos that he has released over the years but he said his album would have jazzy feel to it. So let's see what it sounds like when it comes out.
