RE : Aespa and their lack of fans in the states

  • They overestimated aespa's popularity most probably if this is true. Older groups with bigger fanbases and popularity are doing venues with similar or smaller capacities. Also it's true that it's not always possible for fans to go to concerts with such short notice.

  • That's what they should do as a K-pop company, though. If K-pop companies don't promote their groups, popular or not, what are they even doing?

If a group isn't popular but the company still promotes them, that company is doing a great job. It means they believe in their groups and artists. :yesr:

sm is very good at giving full support to newer groups without looking at their popularity and even puting older groups aside for them.

  • Honest question does the company still make money if scalpers are the ones who bought all the tickets? Does it matter if only a few fans actually attended the concert despite a sold out show? Like what is considered a successful sold out show?

SM might have forgotten that before people buy tickets for a concert, they plan on air flight, hotels, expenses etc.

At least a month would have sufficed
