I have seen it a lot in my country that some have boats in their backyard.
Maybe because they are thinking "Meh, I'm not going to sail on this boat anymore." and then take it out of the sea.
And I kind of knows someone who has a boat in his backyard and I have seen more cats on that boat than I have seen humans. (not his cats, but cats from his neighbourhood)

We have a lot of people with boats in the backyard here. You can have them kept at storage yards, but that can be expensive so it's really only worth it if you don't have room or live very far away and the excessive weight would make the offset of fuel not worth it. You can also have them kept at the marina on the lake, but lmao that's for rich people.
