...and the moral grandstanding involved and the "making up the news as they go" for daily content?
Are you like me and just sick of the bullying and dating "scandals" being pushed by these predominate K-pop websites like koreaboo, soompi, and allkpop in the unending race for clicks and views and relevancy?

There news sits and drama gets more attention. I just think it’s funny, Soompi at one point at like 3/4 tweets in a row and they will all idols deny bullying rumors.
Personally, lots of bullying rumors are kinda helping G-idle, most are fake, so they might be able to get away with saying Soojin’s is fake too

Those articles are definitely clickbaity. They generate a lot of traffic so of course media outlets are gonna capitalize on it. My problem is that they contribute at amplifying controversies which don't need any more fuel in the first place. They inflate way beyond the usual circle of involved groups and artists, with everyone adding in their two cents.

that's honestly what I was thinking, what if all these sketchy rumors and news of people faking shit just to tear idols down is being purposely done to lower the credibility of the rest of the accusations? I feel like some truly may be real but everyone will just assume they're all fake. A smart strategy by fans tbh...
