Do you think Yena will flip the table on Lee Chaeyeon and become the Chungha of Iz*One?

  • Many people had the expectations that Chaeyeon will become the Chungha of Iz*One, and for good reasons - there were a lot of similarities like the heavy dance image, the slight underdog of the group, etc.

But time has passed, and Yena has gotten good receptions on her debut, meanwhile Chaeyeon's company has been making questionable decisions regarding her career.

Do you think Yena will carry this momentum forward and become the unquestioned soloist of the group? Or will Chaeyeon eventually debut and fulfil those expectations?

  • I'm not a vocal expert but I think Chungha's singing is far superior to Chaeyeon's. Yena seems to be a better vocalist than Chae.

It's also not all about talent. People like Yena's variety. Also, let's be real, Chae just doesn't have visuals that Koreans like.

  • Yena was the last person I expected to do best of all the ex-IZ*One members. Such a surprise.

  • How can she flip the table on Chayeon when Chayeon doesn't even have a seat? Her company completely screwed her over and there's simply nothing that can be compared because she's totally been squandered. This discussion isn't even viable to have in any measure. Yena will continue to do great but there's no telling whether or not Chaeyeon would have been able to become the stand-out solo of Iz*One, not anymore.
