They literally acquired pledis because svt was the 2nd best selling group, signed 2 most relevant izone members, yunjin from pd48, that trainee from smtm, a Thai actor, that famous Japanese dancer for their new group. Saved 3 popular iland contestants to debut in their new group. Hitmaker zico 's comapny was also acquired by them. I won't be suprised if they acquire pnation as well in future. BP wasn't their replacement, it was YG attempt to create a good girl group with actual success like snsd and uniqueness like 2ne1, and today they are yg number 1 money earner, so yg isn't going to risk going bankrupt with another gg considering no other of their acts are doing numbers, most of them flopping or making the company waste more money overshipping their albums like Treasure
