Number of new songs BTS released since May 06, 2020 - 13, No of songs its archrival released since the same time period - 14

The one category BTS has not beaten in all of the world is the aggregate digital record , held by its last remaining opponent , who , by the virtue of still standing up against it, has become BTS' archrival.

Here are the list of new songs BTS released , or will release soon, since May 06, 2020, which is the beginning of this list since Suga had the sense to do a song , released on that date, with the singer who has become its archrival.

So it was 13-13, but Mr. Bang himself had asked BTS' archrival to sing a signal song for the I-Land audition ,into the I-land, making the total 13-14!

It is nothing less than ironical that Mr. Bang himself provided the tiebreaker to put the total in favor of BTS' archrival.

BTS is selling its new album with just 3 new songs.

So, in 2 years and 1 months, BTS just released 13 songs, while its archrival had released 14 songs.

At this rate, I don't think BTS will beat the aggregate records of its archrival in the Melon. Granted, BTS is way, way ahead of its archrival in spotify, but at hometown its archrival will continue to hold an edge.

The problem is the one thing where BTS is behind is its aggregate digital points in Melon, Gaon, etc , second to its archrival and this is a chance to catch up with the archrival when she is doing movies and movie promotions, but BTS is releasing less songs despite of having more time to prepare about it

And some of the individual releases were free releases with no bearing on the digital charts, while all of the archrival's songs, except maybe Mother Nature, were for the charts.
