Greece..well..still "rebounding" i guess lol but currently very much affected by the war and prices have gone up a lot lot lot in food, gas, electricity and its been quite hellish. We might get into a war with Turkey at any day and we also have elections coming up.

nope I'm currently in Australia and have been for like 30 years lol
so when I said English wasn't my first language I was technically correct (even though my English is way better than my Mandarin)
ahh well cost of living is going up everywhere I don't think there's a single country not affected...

dating wise though - how would you know what a person's personality is before dating them?
for example assuming both parties are stranglers then the only thing that would get someone even interested in starting the conversation/discussion would be based on physical features no?
if you said - if the only reason you are continuing to date someone is because of their looks I might be more inclined to agree with you but from a blank initial neither party knows the other perspective...wouldn't looks matter a heck of a lot?
the way the other kids i know view dating or being interested in someone as something that should only happen following a particular disney channel formula: you get to know the person by becoming friends with them, and only after developing a solid relationship as friends, can you ask them out 
it's so dumb because going from friendship to a romantic relationship is awkward and complicated, and if it doesn't go well, you have a chance of not just having a shitty date, but losing them as a friend too.
not to mention the constant criticism for liking someone for being cute 
i used to think casual dating culture was cringe, but i can't wait to get to college and leave behind being baraged with disney channel romance fantasies
