Bigbang only had Korea and SEA back then. But with the interest in kpop elsewhere thanks to BTS breaking the glass ceilings, I’m sure many will at least check out their music. So it depends on the music at the end of the day. I have a lot of respect for BB and their artistry so I do think they will do well. But to “snatch” the crown (here I’m just thinking of most popular song crown ie Dynamite) will probably take some time or a really really viral song. Other crowns like most sold albums, Spotify, YT, accolades and charting (especially globally) won’t be touched.

Good job on making people drag BIGBANG for nothing, and good job to the people who dragged BIGBANG even though they were aware of the obvious intention of OP.

i can assure you that as of now it seems like no k-act is about to even breathe close to bts. they’re absolute monsters across every metric
