yeah it's going to be crazy how a lot of armys are going to react to this. for blinks, it's just another day before their eventual comeback. most blinks will have no motivation or desire to fight with armys unless they just plainly attack jennie for living her life. other than that, we're cool.
if this is true, this will be the first authentic dating scandal armys/v fans will have to deal with. good luck to you guys.

BTS amd armys are considered the rival group to blinks unlike EXO and BB, so tensions are already there to begin with
a lot of blinks actually support BB so that is a no problem.

i think you've mistaken blinks easy going attitude with dating news as being cool with some groups and not others. in reality, blinks just don't care unless it messes with the music. im not saying blinks will be cool with jennie dating kim jong un or just about anybody, just saying blinks have been surprisingly neutral when it comes to the personal lives of the girls.
the problem is going to be on the other side and negativity that they decide to bring towards bp. if there's drama it better stay on the other side because blinks have shown that these dating news take a backseat to more important stuff like damn hiatuses. armys will not have to worry about a majority of blinks starting drama. hopefully most armys will return the favor and keep the drama, if there is any at all, on their side of the pond. music is what's important.

I was going to make a joke about it but I remembered that you're not supposed to joke about dating rumours.
Blinks will love the BTS clout. But V akgaes, Taekookers and Taewhatevers will have a huge meltdown.
Shippers will be fine. Reality doesn't affect their delusions. When Baekhyun and Taeyeon were dating ChanBaek shippers were making videos about how sad Chanyeol was and making up all sorts of stories to fit their ChanBaek narrative including SM arranging the BaekTae relationship to draw attention away from ChanBaek.
The same will happen with Taeshippers, they'll just twist the story to make it seem like the company arranged it to draw attention from Taexwhoever, and post all sorts of edited photos or clips taken out of context to fit their narrative and keep their delusion alive.

Thats what I said in my post, I think (personal opinion) because ARMY and BTS are a rival group, they won't be as peaceful as they were with other fandoms because there is already tensions between them, any little retailiation from the other side will blow up

Hardcore blinks don't want to admit this but a lot of their fans are also bb fans. Just look at this forum. News of them dating was a present for them. But most armys and blinks hate each other with a passion so this news wouldn't go over well with any fandom.

one of the positive outcomes of blackpink's long hiatuses and very very bad fanservice is that it gives blinks (or at least the majority of them) time to focus on their own lives and sets some kind of boundaries between the fandom and the group which is not a bad thing at all. a huge portion of the fandom fully realises blackpink are grown-ass women, in their 20s, hot rich and successful. it will be a huge waste if they're not dating, plus dating is the most normal thing ever.
can't say the same for the other fandom though

no, but have blinks gone through a dating scandal between a bp & bts member? no & they have the biggest rivalry, so it's gonna be a different situation for both fandoms. also, i have already seen blinks losing it & getting mad over people taking "an edit" serious, so yeah...

If they're truly dating then what is there to fight about? Fans would have to be true delulu to think that throwing tantrums and hating on their fave's partner will endear them to their bias.
I like the theory that they started speaking after V's accidental public follow and him calling to apologize for Jennie's hate landslide from his fans. That would be sweet karma.
