I never said YG was out of Big3. I am only correcting that user who said JYPE wasn't doing better than YGE cause they are. AKMU might top the charts but their physicals are abysmal. They don't bring in any money.
In YGE, currently there are 2 acts bringing in money. BP and Treasure. Meanwhile, in JYPE. TWICE, ITZY, SKZ, 2PM and JYP himself. So yes, JYPE is at a much better position than YGE.
Mino and Seungyoon also bringing lots of money to YG by just their varieties and drama though.. Dont forget how suzy singlehandedly saved JYP last time with her nonmusic-related offers.

Stray Kids does terrible in JP somewhere I think Treasure will gain alot of fans from if YG actually promotes them.
If Japan is allowing concerts, I am pretty sure YG will throw them in there!

Yeah Treasure can’t hard carry that company despite being the only rookie group they have doing fairly well. Bp’s disbandment equals YG is fcked.
You know that BP's career is fucked too right once they leave YG (no Teddie, no connections, not allowed to use Blackpink brand, limited use of their songs, etc) maybe except Lisa, she can do big in Thailand I guess. I am also sure that all 4 of them have different contract end dates.

Treasure is having a hiatus right now but they are promoting Korea right now as being an ambassador of Korean Tourism.
For Winner, 2 members are in military service.. Mino and Seungyoon are actually the busiest artists in YG at the moment. They are booked lots of shows this year and even have their own exhibits for photography and arts. I heard Mino is even preparing for his comeback in September. They don't know how to sleep.

GD had the full control with MADE though coz he composed all the songs. With BP, Teddie has the control based on the netflix docu.. So I think it is fair enough to blame Teddie with that!

Gallup is the next best thing. Spring day keeps being mentioned even though it is 4 years old with the biggest unique listeners from an idol group on melon. A national hit should be a very well known song not an initial hype.
How can Cheer up be a national hit over Spring day when less people have heard that song compared to Spring Day, and it also popping up in gallup in its later years
not gonna lie, havent heard spring day yet..:( or maybe I heard it but never ring a bell unlike with cheer up

That is like saying that if BTS and every single successful kpop group were not from their own company they would have flopped. Obviously, it is a fact that their own company produces the music if not also the lyrics. So, if BTS weren't from bighit then there is a chance that the western media would have not even touched BTS. Just like other groups. Take Twice, Exo, Red Velvet, Got7. The companies contributed to the music production. But not really to the exposure to that music. Blackpink had to make their own fans. And most company stans don't usually last long, give them one year or two and they will unstan.
BTS was from a small company, BP is not.. get your facts straight

So Blackpink charting with zero promotion in the U.S is because of YG? Alright. But the reason why I included Blackpink is because YG barely gives them comebacks and it is annoying. The only thing keeping haters quiet is the album but we all know that is not going to last long. Also Bigbang did not perform at coachella and I believe CL did not perform there either.
P.S Coming from a big company does not force people stan a group. The people who stan, stan because they want to. Not only that, Blackpink did not have a big fanbase when they debuted.
P.P.S I think you know how much Blackjacks hated Blackpink and accused them of copying 2ne1 so a lot of Blackjacks don't even stan Blackpink. Also VIPs, not a lot of them stan Blackpink. And being from YG does not always give you a upper hand (if not a drawback). Look at Ikon and Winner.
Thats true like all new groups BUT BP have enough fans already before debut thanks to the so-called YG stans (I was once a yg stan so I know this shit).. imagine if BP was from smaller company, their debut might probably flop and ofc not composed by Teddy.

YG connection never helped them in the western market and the long hiatus. 2020 was the best year for blinks because we got 3 comebacks and an album. Usually it is just 1 comeback and a lot of people hate on Blackpink for not having a lot of comebacks and album. If YG gave Blackpink more comebacks and more promotion they would be so much more popular and less hated.

Coachella hello??? YG has big connections there that's why Bigbang, CL, Epik High and BP were able to perform there. Teddy has connections with western producers too..
BP is just a nugu group if they were not in YG. BP even managed to get lots of fans pre-debut because THEY ARE FROM YG.Just find it weird that you mentioned a successful group in this thread.
