I use Twitter a lot but I don't frequently see solo stan drama on my timeline. Depends on who you're following.

You have to admit they'd be loud though. I mean if they will tweet abt one member's solo song, you'd be facing the solo stans of 6 other members. Then there'd be non-solos who might agree with that sentiment. I'm not saying this excuses them because it'd be nice if they'd tweet abt the members' solo releases but this might be an explanation. I mean, why go through this process when you can avoid it altogether by not tweeting at all? This way, the fandom is divided cause some believe this is not out of character for them with regard to BTS so everything is normal and solos are, as per usual, enraged for the lack of tweets but hey, all our faves are on the same boat anyways so meh.

Not excusing Hybe but maybe they just decided not to do it at all now to avoid a "favoritism" issue? Like, if they suddenly tweeted abt a member's OST, I imagine there'd be some solo stans of other members blabbing, "Why didn't you do this for this and that before. Blatant favoritism, get my fave out of there. Hashtag freemyfavefromslavery. This is mistreatment blah blah blah." I mean this is what happened to that K-ARMY playlist account before when they excluded a solo song for one member then included the collab of another member the next time.

Good point, but I'm more inclined to believe that BE will be nominated given that MAMA seems intent on being more "credible" by removing fan votes and disqualifying BE from the list of nominees would no doubt do the opposite given that a song from Oct 2020 was nominated and a group which debuted later than BE's release is qualified for Rookie of the Year.

Makes sense to me, I'm really curious to see if they're going to nominate BE for album of the year though because they technically should, but I have a feeling they might get robbed in that category. Either way prepare for the meltdowns.
Nah pretty sure it is nominated. Mino's song Run Away was released on October 30, 2020 and is nominated in the hiphop category.
