The stars were sparkling on the black sky.
Goose was waddling around alone in the forest.
She had been told that the forest was magical and that strange things happen at night.
She was curious about what sort of things happen.
So far, she had not noticed anything strange or magical.
The grass was green, and white daisies were growing on them.
The trees were brown with green spring leaves.
It seemed like just an ordinary forest.
Maybe they were lying, she thought.
Feeling disappointed, she sat down and picked up a daisy, plucking its white petals, as if she wondered if her crush liked her.
She didn't crush on anyone at the moment.
Every time that she had feelings for someone, they didn't feel the same way.
"Someone likes me, someone likes me not, someone likes me, someone likes me not..." she said as she plucked the petals.
As she was about to pluck another petal, she heard the sound of a wind instrument playing music.
The music made her heart play the drums.
She got up and forgot all about the daisy, she was plucking.
She followed where the music came from, until she saw someone standing by a lake.
It was a guy with black hair and black clothing playing an ocarina.
Fireflies were flying around him looking like twinkling stars and making him look more ethereal.
Some ducks were in front of him, seeming to admire his music.
Is he human or an elf? she wondered.
She had heard stories about elves luring people in forests.
But never had she heard about elves luring waterfowls.
She walked closer towards him.
The guy noticed her and a smile formed on his lips.
He kept playing the ocarina, until the song was over.
The ducks quacked cheerfully and clapped with their wings.
"Thank you for listening" he said and then looked at Goose. "And you, I have never seen you here before."
"Well... it is the first time that I have been in that forest."
"It is quite unusual to see geese here." he said, "especially beautiful geese like you"
Her cheeks turned pink like cherry blossoms.
"Oh, I haven't introduced myself. My name is Seonghwa."
"Nice to meet you."
"It is a pleasure to meet you too."
Suddenly they heard the sound of a bell ringing.
It was ringing twelve times.
"Oh, my apologies, but I unfortunately I have to go home now." he said.
He put his ocarina in the pocket of his trousers.
He smiled at her, saying "Perhaps we will meet again tomorrow night."
Then he left.
How she wished that the two of them would have had a longer conversation.
She looked at the daisy, she was holding.
She started plucking the remaining petals.
"He likes me, he likes me not, he likes me, he likes me not..."
When two petals were left, she plucked one.
"He likes me not."
When she noticed only one petal being left, her heart played the drums again.
A huge smile formed on her beak.
She couldn't wait to see him again.
