Well, it is normal tho..whiplash also for past few days already reach new peak on genie..plus this week and upcoming week is still in award season & aespa gonna perform whiplash probably with new arrangement/remix, so it kinda boost more the song..so yeah

My Prediction form MMA 2024 (Most likely closed to what others predicts):

SOTY - Pretty confirmed Supernova (currently #1 in voting) and based on industrial survey, they are strong candidate to win, so Supernova might get a full score from judges.

ALBUM OF THE YEAR - 50-50 between IU/aespa/Plave.. based on voting Plave is leading & aespa "Armageddon" come close in 2nd, iu in top 5, but for Judges scores I think might goes to IU or aespa..

AOTY - Pretty confirmed for aespa, eventho curently Plave still lead in voting & aespa in top 6, but the prediction score so far still aespa in leads, and for judges score, aespa is voted by the industrial critic etc as Singer of the year for 2024, so the high judges score might go to them, thus secure the awards.

Record Of The Year - Since this is 100% by the judges, so they might give to anyone who shows great result in Melon throughout the year : My bet - G-idle or TWS or maybe Plave (but who knows they gonna give to aespa also since Supernova broke the melon weekly record for 20 years )

hmm idk about illit but for aespa is either hit or miss, this time they comeback with edm-techno genre (based on what SM describe about whiplash) and I don't think public are ready for that genre, if aespa can make the public tune in with whiplash, fuhhhhh that gonna be sick afffff

His last comeback is 2013 and that's 11 years ago, but he dominate the charts like crazy.. still remember he won daesang at KMA (the most prestigious award in korea) for "Bounce"..his song viral, so many idol covering his song..this time knetizen totally tune in for his cb, I'm just praying the best for aespa & illit, since the competition will be fierce in Oct with so many great artist and trending groub cb, hope that at least both group can maintain charting high in korean charts and international..

I really liked the comeback teaser. I think these songs will also be very successful. Because kpop groups' songs after the super hit song are generally lead to success again.

well the bgm teaser from savage is just a coincidence tho, it's not exactly the same but the beat yeah..another things is last time winter spoilt that they already recorded this comeback song as early as end of last year, when they're preparing the full album comeback, so yeah this comeback is not a rush and they already preparing for a long time..so let's give them a full support..

Well aespa probably will debut high in charts when the song release compare to Illit but knowing how HYBE marketing is (for sure they will make a song that can viral on tiktok & countless dance challenge), spent high playlist reach on spotify, so the song will slowly climbing the charts due to their marketing.. while aespa gonna be hit or miss..they have fandom to back up but for public I'm not sure, their song might be hard to listen at first but you never know, their music kinda have something that make u addicted lol..but Giselle spoil that whiplash gonna be a cool version of Supernova so let see..

One thing about Dem Jointz composed & producing, his song is either hit or miss.. last time with Supernova is for me a banger, Heya just nice, Nmixx for me okay, nct (Kick it is suchh a hit for me)..
