Newjeans are improving their total daily streaming number in Japan to new high everyday. They are currently in the top 3 most streamed artist there. They are by far the most listened kpop act in Japan right now.
Even without song in global top 200, they are currently the most listened gg in the World and will very easily be the most streamed 4 gen gg in 2024.
Spending so much energy to try to convice people that the most CURRENTLY listened gg in the World is irrelevant is crazy 
Nothing to worry about for Newjeans future 
Even in the case that they never reach again their 2023 global spotify success, they will still be very successful in South Korea/Japan. Newjeans catalog full of global hit will assure them to be relevant for years globally and to stay one of the most streamed gg on spotify for years.
It quite simple, no need to do new threads every day:
- Newjeans global Spotify streams dropped quite a lot this year
- Newjeans is still currently the most streamed 4 gen gg on global Spotify and it's not even close (maybe next year it'll change)
- Newjeans are currently gaining a lot of popularity in Japan. Their current streaming performance in Japan is more than impressive
Top artist is one of the best way to assess an artist current Spotify performance. It's dumb as fuck to only look at a single song performance like NJ hater are doing. NJ have currently 11 songs in Spotify japan top 200. Supernatural is 18 and is rising every day. Most of their song are rising.
Newjeans is still 3 in the Japan Spotify top artist list. Le Sserafim best spot is 10, Kepler best spot is 48. Current NJ streaming number in Japan are insane

11 song in the top 200. It looks like around 15% of NJ spotify streams are from Japan. It'll probably progress even more with all the promotion they are currently doing. I don't see how people can say that NJ is not big in Japan, their daily streaming number taking into account all streaming services must be really high
9.5M daily streams for Newjeans, that's still a very solid number. By comparaison Aespa is at 6M so even if we remove last 2 Newjeans song, they are ahead of them. Le Sserafim is at 4M, if we remove all songs released by Newjeans this year, their daily streams would still be bigger than Le Sserafim one It's 99% sure that NJ will be the most streamed 4 gen GG group this year but yes their last release performance is bad and a concern

It's interesting how I didn't see much talk about this.
Many gen z hate Coca Cola along with Starbucks, McDonalds etc because of Palestine. Indonesia is a predominantely Muslim country and a lot of people are boycotting brands that showed support for Israel. It's not just Muslim people by the way. Many others do too.
Some Kpop idols got massive hate for just drinking a starbucks coffee, so actually promoting one of those brands will make people tune out.
Someone asked about BM doing well there: BlackPink did very well in Indonesia too and a lot of initial BM stans were Blinks or YG stans, so it doesn't surprise me that BM is quite strong there.

I'm pretty sure that How Sweet would have peaked between 2m-2.5m daily streams without that dumb collab.
At least their promotion in japan seems to be effective. They probably had more than 1m daily streams on spotify japan taking into account songs that didn't chart That's quite good since apparently spotify is not that big in japan
It's also quite nice that they are currently the most streamed gg on global spotify without hybe payola.
