I don't think Aespa sold 200k+ in oricon , i think it's billboard japan sales. Those sales includes album purchased by international fan and shipped from japan (oricon only count album shipped within japan).

For NJ i don't think the comparaison make much sense as Supernatural was released in the same way as their Korean release. It's quite normal that an album released everywhere will sold less in japan that albums only released in japan (if i'm correct about the release ).

We will soon know hybe intentions. NJ first full album is probably ready and promotion seems scheduled with Fortnite collaboration etc. If we have no news of the album release date in the following months, it'll mean that Hybe want to sabotage NJ (it'll be quite dumb as they'll lose lots of money by doing it).

With a full album ready and a world tour for 2025, it's not a bad timing to "fire" MHJ as new music release (after the album) will probably not be needed until end of 2025.

NJ, IVE (G)I-DLE all had a CB in the same period but they didn't offer much competition since all their songs underperformed Only big song that Supernova had to fight with is How Sweet which is probably a top 5 (maybe even top 3) song of the year on melon/circle chart.

But Supernova is still probably the most successful song since I am/Ditto. I think it's a little bigger than Super Shy/Queencard in SK

How Sweet is already at 268k digital points in 13 weeks. If i'm correct, only Supernova did better this year in the same time period. How Sweet performance seems to be underwhelming because it was totally blocked by Supernova (by far the biggest song in SK this year) but it's one of the most successful song of the year in SK when you look at the numbers.

I suppose that circle charts take into account streams and not ULs? So even if a song is below another one in melon chart, it can still have more streams on melon and have a higher score in circle digital chart

Nice that they are doing some japan promotion this month The supernatural/ETA perfomance that aired yesterday with quite good and tomorrow we will have a new supernatural performance and each member will cover a song (if i'm correct).
