This can jeopardize their career and they are still so young and in beginning stages..
Like in any other company with power, if someone goes against it they will make an example out of them so the other employees stay in line. They can't affoard to let them go and become sucessful or they might get the same kind of problem with other groups in the future.
Fame is a fickle thing, you can be at the top, but if you spend enough time out of the limelight you will eventualy get replaced and forgotten.
Whoever advised them didn't care about their well being at all.

I'm so scared of getting my hopes up for nothing, especially after the PTSD I have as a f(x) stan, we were constantly screwed over by freaking SM.
But the new label she joined focuses on music (apparently the artists responsible for New Jeans music are there) so maybe it's a sign that it is finally happening.

Krystal has been doing so well and is one of the most talented "idol turned to actress" but I honestly miss IdolStal so much, her freaking aura as an idol is unreplicated, she's truly one of a kind.
I don't know why people have this misconception that Krystal is not interested in music.
Everytime this subject is brought up in interviews she always mentions how happy she would be if f(x) reunited, that they didn't plan for 4 walls to be their last album.
She also mentioned that she didn't release music yet because she was either busy or didn't have a suitable song. She has a peculiar taste and knowing how she is, she will not comeback unless she feels completely satisfied with what she releases.
f(x) reuniting is my dream and even though I know the girls are close and keep in touch I also understand that with Victoria's situation it will be almost impossible.
Sulli's case was different, she felt she was a burden to the girls and didn't want to affect f(x) negatively that's why she decided to leave, not because she didn't want to sing anymore.

I've been into kpop since the beginning of 2nd gen, and let me tell you this happens most of the time when a GG debut from one of the big companies, specially if the debut song is not super liked.
The fans of older GGs groups of the same company feel threatned that their favs will get replaced and ignored in favor of the new faces and the fans of other GGs that are popular at the time also feel threatned that they might get real competition.
It's a cycle that repeats itself over and over again, and the same thing will happen when babymonster will reach the end of their contract and a new GG from YG will debut.
It's normal, they will be fine and sucessful.

TVXQ's fandom was completely insane, the worst I've ever seen (and I say it as a Cassi)
They poisoned a member (Yunho) almost killing him jfc (they pretended to be a staff member and put superglue in his orange juice), they hacked another member's phone (he was talking about goint to meet someone and they just started sending him messages, harrasing him and accusing him of dating), they would hire taxis to go after the members almost provoking a fatal accident at least once, just plain batshit crazy

Going to need a few more listens to see if it somewhat growns on me but atm that song is not it.
Some nice moments in it but chorus and some rap-ish parts are really grating on the ear. Song would benefit on being shorter too.
Concept, MV and visuals are great.
Little shout outs to f(x) with Giselle paying tribute to Krystal's NU ABO hair and Ning Ning being bathed in red light as seen in f(x)'s redlight MV.
