Tomatoe, tomatoe! The biggest accusers often seem to be the biggest culprits and/or victims of toxicity though (and it is often oxymoron in itself)

You CAN help how you write, be mindful of the way you do so and be considerate of how it is received by others/the intended audience. If you don't, you will alienate people who may otherwise be supportive of you and your message. Frankly, some of what you have posted has rubbed people (myself included) the wrong way and not allowed us to fairly listen to the groups you advocate for and be resistant to doing so.

It's really not that serious. I don't take myself seriously and neither should you. I promise you'll see less of me when it gets busier at work.

I bought a new car this summer. Can I flex about that too while I'm at it?

Should I get some Mamamoo and NewJeans decals and plaster it all over the car? Since the call is coming from inside the house?

Honestly, you come across as someone who takes yourself VERY seriously and you like to try to intimidate others (whose first language may not be English) with verbose arguments. That's not a sign of anything other than your own insecurity where you can try to weaponise confusing people with words.

re: the car (?), sounds fabulous!! Congrats

I'm jealous how you have it all going on with the 'amazing job' you keep talking about it while commenting on forums 24/7. Sounds tough :(

The fact you came back after saying bye, think there is a winner or loser to be declared in this exchange, and also apparently really want the last word, is even more proof that you should take your own advice.

I live a good life if I have the luxury to post on an Internet forum at my leisure.

If you don't want me gloating about my life, then maybe don't try to tell me how to live it.

What ARE you going on about? #thecallsarecomingfrominsidethehouse #trustmeihavethebestjobever #allkpoptokkiqueen

if the best argument you can make is unrelated and is 'trust me my life is better than yours and I earn so much money' then  . I earn good, but I don't use it to win an argument I'm otherwise losing.

Please get a life grounded in reality instead of responding to every post on a kpop forum. We would be happier and you would be happier. #thanksandbye

I consciously stopped posting here because I decided it wasn't healthy or conducive to my (actually happy) real life or mindset.

But honestly b!tch, the calls are coming from inside the house...

Do yourself a favor and get a life outside of posting on this forum 24/7...

I hope the NJ fans enjoy their latest comeback and any chart success because it will be the last one for a while. I'd say you can solace yourself through group cry-wanking over feeling indignant and right about things that the rest of us just don't get, but you have been doing it for weeks. Reasoning like yours in finding reasons to justify figures who are clearly in the wrong is the reason people like Trump have power. Shame on you..

Also the fact that this highlights that choreography CAN'T be copyrighted at the moment actually reduces the validity of the claims in court.

More delusion on this thread as if the choreography copyright legislation is some sort of win for NJ and MHJ. It’s got nothing to do with the case and won’t affect it in the slightest. It won’t even come into effect until the end of the year.

Also, copyright guidelines state what can and CAN’T be copyrighted. Its not a regulation to say nobody is aloud to copy anymore because ILLIT copied NewJeans, it is to set guidelines about what people can and cannot file copyright for.

It is laughable to think the Korean government are NJ and MHJ fans and are doing this out of support. They will just want clear rules to define what are baseless and valid claims of copying, and what can be copyrighted will likely be very specific as very few dance moves are truly original and don’t reference something. They just don’t want another mess like this happening elsewhere with a major Korean company.

‘99% of Korean public support MHJ’, choreography copyrights, cult claims, who debuted first, elevator greetings… Take all these so-called wins if it makes you feel better but NONE of it will matter to this case in the end, which will be settled in court. The law isn’t about what’s nice to do or who you like the best. It is about what is legal or within contract terms.

If I was an NJ fan I’d be more worried about the members all publicly coming out in support of MHJ to tie themselves to her, her actions and also burning bridges with HYBE. That puts every other so-called L in the shade. Just as public opinion in Korea has started to shift. The really are the new 50/50.

U can't blame the parents and ador people for their reaction towards illit concept. I mean so many ppl were calling them nj copycats. They felt the same and reported their concerns.

No one makes such similar concepts in same company. It very much giving replacement.

It sucks for the illit girls who have zero control over this are getting hated on. They don't deserve any of it. They'll still have comebacks and a certain future, that simply doesn't exist for nj in the present after their Tokyo dome fan meet. Anyways anyone can believe in whoever they want is the bigger victim i guess.

Maybe tell that to YG, but I joke

It really isn't that similar though - MJH just capitalised on the 2000s revival trend - which was happening everywhere as every decade has a revival 20 years later or so - its cyclical. She lifted VERY heavily from UK Garage culture and music at that time, and copy and pasted a lot of things from that time to Korea where they felt 'new' because it didn't happen there then. Its new for K-pop, but she just referenced heavily (copied) music and styles and passed it off as creative genius.

A lot of people on this thread need:

    (a) therapy

    (b) a hard look at themselves over their behaviour towards other groups

    (c) a sobbing cry w**k over everything bad that's happened to our princesses NewJeans this last few weeks (our poor penthouse accommodated angels!)

Apologies, didn't mean to get you all bothered. I will refer you to...

No matter how u spin it the biggest victim in this story is newjeans. Their future has no clarity at present. No one knows how it's going to play out.

Any and every side is a loss situatio

They are not victims as they engaged with this either directly or indirectly through their parents. Some may be minors but they are not 8 years olds but young adults. They know what is happening and it would have been done in some consultation with them. This is classic Korean 'celebrity disease'. ILLIT are the victims, who are a new group that NewJeans families - and by proxy NewJeans members - supported naming, vilifying and hating

    What the ****

You seem like you are an intelligent person. Your posts are far more articulate than the majority of the barely literate ones from MJH fanboys/girls with childish arguments about greetings and broken promises etc (as if it means anything legally). However, you are clutching at straws and reaching hard - cling to the scraps of 'winning public opinion' as long as you want but it means nothing in the end. Nothing will salvage this for MJH - its a matter of when not if.
