lol don't try to make this into "everyone care about charts". ofc achievements are celebrated that's important for artist to feel proud. But no. bts are one of a kind in being chart obsessed. I've never seen any group talk about predictions as well.

I went to see their live stage to see what all the hype was about and the group had like high designer outfits and a big team of back up dancers. They did not feel like nugus with no money and cockroaches in their rooms to me. But the fact they are still nugu and the song is viral. The only question I have is that they have an english version of the song blowing up? Is it preplanned or just stroke of luck because i don't see any other nugus releasing english versions at all.

The initial statement is not hard to understand. It means they did not want to bothered with dating rumors whether it's true or false. Kpop fans have also decided to take these yg statements as confirmation that they are dating it because they don't outright deny it. In the second statement, yg said that since reckless speculation is still continuing we are going to deny it now.
