The lesson that bts should learn is that Don't be too greedy. Don't reach too high through unconventional means. The fall is going to be much harder. Music industry is not going to just sit and watch the chart manipulation that they themselves cannot do. You play by their rules or u burn. No wonder, they didn't give them a grammy nomination at all until they did payola.

it's hard to to burn cash like u say when they have multiple projects every year for their groups. They cannot predict which one will do better. They also cannot capitalize if the project does well because they have to start the next project quickly to keep fans hooked to the groups. It has it's advantages and disadvantages. Only hybe is reckless where they burn cash endlessly. Their strategy is a mix of jyp and yg. And that is the trendy strategy right now and the one that seems to be working the best.

So yeah, jyp quality suffers because they can't burn cash like hybe. yg fanbase suffers because they can't deliver several projects like hybe(and jyp).

i think y'all should be satisfied that they are still letting the whole mass buying multiple remixes thing still happen. That is weird in any chart. Anyway, I don't like this change because fans should be allowed to buy every week and it should be reflected on chart.

did u ever for a second think that maybe 3rd gen fans just got older and now stanning 4th gen. It's not like 3rd gen fans disappear from the face of the earth after their faves are done.

Western music is consumed very differently. It has a long history. It's easily digestable. Kpop and even latin music are still babies compared to them. The language barrier makes it even more harder for the anamolies you point out. Having a rigid schedule saves time and effort to deliver multiple albums in a year.

kpop is too inorganic. We have never seen older 2nd/3rd gen kpop hits getting love now. It's too fandom driven or should i say company driven. It's always "what's next? the next hit. and then again next. There's no appreciation for kpop music. kpop is not about music it's about idols that's it. Why is there no revival in interest for a bigbang or snsd song? Or a older twice or blackpink song? even a older bts song? why do these events not happen? ask yourself that.
