I think it's not a coincidence they are on their 9th Super show. Their shows are known to be very fun. So there's that.

Well, it just comes to preferences. Personally, I have favorite songs in every gen. But overall, when it comes to title songs, I guess I prefer catchy songs with a little outdated sound to performance based songs with excessive amount of rapping in some cases.

Well, but 2nd generation is also evolving musically tho. Some are still active and putting out bangers.

You would maybe say Sorry sorry is noise pollution nowadays, but the titles aren't the only music groups were putting out.

Just these songs were on Sorry Sorry album, and it is a big stretch to call them noise pollution.

and I could continue with several songs actually from that album alone. The problem with Super Junior is that their recorded versions are rarely as good as live versions.

The girls should keep the song. Y'all, as ELF, I've had enough. There is a finite number of remixed versions one can withstand in one life.

I like how Shinee look so young and then there is intense looking Yesung. Sounds great tho.

Bleach opening and ending songs are legendary. However I'm hardly looking foward to this ending saga. I was waiting for years for the manga to get better, but everything I excpected from this just went awry. I loved the beginning though.

I agree with many of your points- I am also very happy that Kangin is gone and see Siwon very critically, but at the same time I see many of their words being misinterpreted and I see quotes/inappropriate jokes being brought up which were made over a decade ago. And it is always nice to see newer fans too. I think the succession of Black suit, One more chance and their latin collabs brough in some new ELF.

Personally I am at that stage, when I don't complain about anything when it comes to them, I'm just glad they are still around making music for us and just appreaciating everything. And even if I sometimes wish something would turn out different ( music style, setlist, promotions, variety guesting etc.), I just think of all the hate the members are receiving on daily basis and don't have the heart to complain about anything.

I've been a fan since 2012, but I must say I love their recent years the most. My biases are KRY. I have been trying to stop checkin on Suju since forever, but they are really hard to get rid of, so I'm still around. I really like that their music is listenable(as long as they steer clear from rap) with many vocal touchoups that just make my ears happy. I also like their cute and sweet smiles. KRY concert was the first thing in Kpop I considered worthy of my money and it was beautiful. I watched it together with my husband.

I don't get all the fuss with all the problematic stuff they supposedly did. I have been around long enough to see all the other groups get into some really serious stuff. Rape allegations, bullying, cheating, stealing, military scandals etc. but the root of Suju's scandals is usually the same, aka they talked on variety and made bad/insensitive/ignorant joke/taken out of context or people just assuming the worst based on few words.

Unlike nonfans I have seen them grow as people, I also see the good stuff they do. Some of it completly contradicts all the things I have to read about them on twitter. I consider myself a very good judge of character in real life, so I don't get discouraged by all the hate. I don't think they are innocent babies, but I also don't think they are worse than any other Kpop group out there.

They have so many variety schedules, I'm kind of impressed they have only so few "scandals" in 17 years of this overexposure tbh.

Kangin was the only sore spot, but he's gone now too. Though 2PM had more drunk drivers than Suju, yet somehow their reputation didn't get hit that much. Siwon is somewhat a weird character, but that is something that was clear to me since the beginning.

I have created this account today, because it makes me sad seeing so few of us, ELF, in here. Back in the day, Allkpop was teeming with ELF. And I also remember all the picture memes on front page. Fun times.
