I get what you mean. There have been threads ad nauseam about how JYP doesn't have a good long run plan for their girl groups, specifically twice/itzy. How they don't know how to execute for their girl groups past the debut years. I just don't believe that they have 0% caring when it comes to korean charts. If that was the truth they wouldn't have done a 180 with twice's concept after 2020; Scientist/TTT read so much like they were trying to recapture old twice magic in korea but it was too late and both of those songs did nothing in korea.

I keep on seeing that in this thread that apparently JYP doesn't care about charting they just care about selling lots of albums. I totally disagree with that sentiment. Sure for stray kids they might not give two shits but JYP is famous for their girl groups. Even if they don't have the fandom in Korea the general public has always loved JYP girl group songs up until the past 3 years. Nmixx is the first JYP girl group that has had no interest in SK in their debut year and I think that is very worrying from a company standpoint; As many have already mentioned JYPE doesn't have other ventures that they get money from.

I think this is their best song lyrically. I think the reason Newjeans is so popular is because of how sincere their vocals sound. Like I believe what their singing especially Hyein's part.

Like one person above said, a reporter can get main page article when they wrote about jennie ig post. I admit it is hard for international fans to gauge BTS popularity in SK because their fandom is so big you can confuse them with general public attention.

I only liked the first part of the chorus. Everything else was kind of forgettable. I'll vote flop for now and see if I change my mind later.

I always see songs referred to by Twice and BTS as korean songs even if they are in english or japanese. I didn't mean anything by it. It was an honest mistake.

I was hoping for a different sound from Blackpink, like to show how they've grown in 2 years. But its just the same type of song they've been making since debut. I think blinks will love it but there isn't anything new that you haven't heard from Blackpink to be found.

A song that isn't even in the top 1000 on melon can some how get 6 wins. I hope this just shows everyone that music show wins mean nothing.
