When watching the video for the first time I thought too at first but then she mentioned Tomboy so I figured it was for the next comeback

    Same.

I think (and hope) it's really a concept about I love myself, so I show you the real me and If it's good with you, nice, and if you don't like, too bad but I dont care. They 're able to develop the love everyone you want concept too.

But the direction the music will take, I have no idea. No clue. We go back more to the piano of I burn, or we keep plugging the guitars of I never die... or other. But as I heard someone say, it won't be "Ooh we dyed our hair, new concept" but a real, thoughtful and coherent whole. In short, a real artist's thing

I would be disappointed if she came back as if nothing had happened. The group showed a united and effective side. I think that's one of the reasons, they didn't really sing a solo song during the concerts (well, I see it like that. They want to show us : We're a band, we're together). There is a real coherence and chemistry. it would be hard to do it again, it would be wobbly. We avoid getting back together with an ex. But if Soojin goes solo (which she could do because promo level and waiting could be strong), I'll be happy that these former partners support her, or even that they do a feat or appearances in concert from time to time. But how are the relations between all the girls? Is there a feeling that the group is continued ?

    :pepe-joy:

And yes, to follow music in the media for some time, the press needs a symbolic group. (And I'm not talking about the Korean press which surely knows the diversity, but the European and American one). For the mainstream press, and the general public, pre rock=Elvis, Rock= Stones, Punk=Pistols, hardrock=ac/dc.etc Each generation and each style has a group. I was wondering if this isn't what's happening to BP (of course, with any duration proportion). These are groups that are both never criticized by some but also always by others.

It can flop, I understand myself and I will still enjoy Pink Venom tomorrow 😃

they would have to stay relevant at least more than 40 years

in my country the stones could fill 3 football stadiums in a row a few years ago

It's true. I'm wondering that because I saw a lot of BP merchandise and I know a lot of people who know BP and not others KPop band (or maybe BTS, at least the name). The capacity of the arenas are not shamefully. I'm wondering for long term and the shadow of the others bands in the media

Is Blackpink the Rolling Stones of Kpop?

First I hope no trolls, I love stones and I love BP. To both I owe openings to exciting musical worlds.

Rolling Stones was the band that popularized this style of rock worldwide. It is difficult to pass by. Their symbol is everywhere. I have already had students with Stones t-shirts without knowing them. They are both incredible and beyond criticism. The media make tons of it around them (too much). It's the light on the style and the other bands but like a beacon it can dazzle and hide the other bands. Isn't it the same for BP? The media sanctify them because the production is very good and worldwide, it's more in English than other bands and they need a symbol for this style of music. That's not necessarily a bad thing. What will be left of them? for the others ?

Tomorrow I'm going back to Bangkok, to be in shape for the concert on Saturday. I was thinking of making a topic afterwards to write a review, but since the Blinks write a lot. I thought to myself why not. (Besides, I will arrive after Light the Pink and I'm disgusted. I'll never forget that it was they who opened me up to this music and then this title sounds so good). Anyway, this will be my first K-pop concert. And I don't know what to expect. I have already seen hundreds of concerts. Some have been strong. Artists that I listen to for a long time and who touch me deeply. I hope it will (with Hwaa or Lion how would it be otherwise). But I know it will be different. Then I can't wait. They have such beautiful voices, the titles are really good as I like. I'll see

After a first view to RFL, I am mixed. It's a good B-side, but it was recorded a while ago (the Netflix doc isn't that recent), they didn't have to participate in the clip as it's all CGI (maybe a session with sensors to create movements and avatars? I'll be curious to see). When we remember that about two months ago Aespa made their comeback with a title as strong as Illusion. I hope the next one will be on a higher level because they might lose (or no longer fully deserve) their crowns as Kpop queens.

There's another song I like that has the exact same title, but it's German punk.

I find them really talented, the members of ()-IDLE, but really a lot.
