Groups always have more invested fans than solo artists and probably because BP is a YG group, so some BB & 2ne1 fans are more likely to go to their concert. Soon the Kpop Empress might announce a Tokyo Dome tour after her Jamsil stadium tour.

I never understood the obsession of these soccer fans towards idol fans. From the videos I've seen, they are more hype in a stadium than k-fans and would also trash the venue. They are one of the reasons why BTS had to perform in a half-filled stadium and why IU had to halt her stadium dates in Jamsil earlier this year and only proceeded now due to the lift of covid restrictions.
I guess like total revenue they generated.

But dang, Bad Bunny's daily views tho. He really is a streaming monster everywhere. And the only artist that excels in every platform and matches Spotify stream like BTS. I fear he will overtake soon with his daily views and with BTS' hiatus. He deserves tho.

because if you blame the member it would be a direct attack to the very person. And that could be very mean?
if you blame the company, such as mismanagement or not enough promotion, it would felt less evil because you didn't even know who is behind all of those stuff.
also there could be other several reasons tho.as simple as people biased opinion for their favs (my fav is perfect, so they can't be the wrong) that makes people easily blamed the company
I agree. But sometimes stans just set high expectations to their faves releases, so sometimes they gotta suck it up for expecting too much. I mean, if the goals are not met maybe it's not anyone's fault but the stans for setting the goals too damn high and ended up being disappointed, hence why we see so many victimizing and blaming towards companies or idols even though none of these parties asked for half of these goals 💀 Most of the time stans set themselves up for disappointment. But yeah, sometimes it's understandable if the company is not even doing the bare minimum to promote the group or their songs.
Shouldn't also kpop stans be blamed lol, cause kpop stans are shallow, usually the most popular members from groups tend to be the visuals. Least popular member tends to be least visual. Groups who doesn't have strong visuals tend to be less popular. So in that case it is just wrong for them to be blamed that they are not pretty enough lol.
This is most highlighted in Kpop, but tbh it's a universal thing. That's why 'pretty privilege' is real for both men & women. That's just how it is, ig.

If this is exclusive to Kpop then rank will be album sales>>touring>>youtube views. Kpop industry moves differently from mainstream and more on fandom-focused. I would say that these three are the metrics to see how huge is the group's fandom which indicates 'success' whether profitable or longevity.
But looking at these metrics- just wanna appreciate how BTS topped all of these. I hope more groups can have the success of BTS.
Looking at their solo activities and them being more relaxed and loose- it's a crazy comparison when they were doing group promotions. I hope their new terms & conditions will give them more lax schedule and time for themselves if they plan on resigning with HYBE again. Their contract runs out in 2024, btw.
P.S. I'm really curious on what kind of terms they signed with HYBE in 2018. It's just a crazy contrast with what we're seeing this Chapter 2 and they're only starting...
