because he is Japanese and proud of it.
Korean-Japanese sentiment is still BAD bad on both sides and some Koreans will hate every Japanese person unless they basically denounce their nationality and put down their own country, and even then some extreme Korean nationalists still hate them for simply being Japanese.
But this does not represent all Koreans, in fact Yuzuru has many Korean fans, and many Koreans think hating on every Japanese person for the sins of their Government is nonsense

this stuff is so drawn out... what ever happened to just getting it over with? seriously you will suffer more if you make this big fuss

personally as a longtime fan I dislike the change to the sport that Chen is emblematic of (it is not his fault and I have nothing against him personally, he's just a talented kid doing what he loves). Nowadays artistry and the emotional experience of a program matters little, it's all about doing quad jump after quad jump, even if the skater falls ten times trying to get there, even if all the creativity has been sucked out of the performance. It's like some of these higher ups in figure skating want it to be like every other sport, robotic and emotionless, for what? to gain respect from the sports community? lol what a joke.

normally I would agree that in a sport visuals should not matter and people should judge soley based on performance, but figure skating is a performing art, like ballet, it is performed to music and has choreography. part of the grading criteria for figure skating is literally creativity and interpretation of the music. figuring skating is about just objective skills but also taking in the overall experience of the performance which costumes do impact

the song looks fun and upbeat and the mv quality appears higher than I expected! I'm getting more optimistic about this debut as the days go by.

Considering WJSN's recent unit promotions as Chocome and WJSN The Black, and Dawon and Yeonjung's absence from these activities, I think it only makes sense to put together a duo project for the two powerhouse vocalists. Of course above all else an ot10 (ot13!! but realistically speaking here) comeback is desired but i think a vocal unit would be a nice opportunity to show yet another of the various sides of WJSN.

this isn't warfare with peace treaties and non-aggression pacts. fans will decide to be mean and start fanwars whenever they feel like it.
although there may be less active fighting between these two groups, I still notice an overall nasty attitude coming from one of these fandoms towards the other's faves, but i'll keep my statement vague as I don't want them coming for me (as they are known to do when you call them out for their nasty behavior)

They've been together for almost six years, so good for them.
Rings aren't to my taste, but it does suit their aesthetic.
i agree, the rings are wacky but i think a normal diamond ring would look out of place with their aesthetic
i wish them the best! whether they're really tying the knot or just couple rings

i think she should stick with short hair and dark hair if not that exact cut, compared to her long blonde hair at debut, her current look is so much better

yes. my main faves barely release music and i'm still a stan, plus i consider myself a stan of some disbanded 2nd gen groups

generic but catchy and inoffensive. i've yet to hear the necessity of it being in english, i think i would've liked it better as a korean track

Music Core used to claim they only use live audio, but that isn't true anymore?
I hadn't expected KBS Music Bank to be the only one using live singing these days, I'd have expected it to be Inkigayo or Music Core or such. But those are all full lipsynced (non-live audio) now?
the Music Core thing is false but for whatever reason kpop fans still spread it to say their faves don't lip sync. perhaps it was true at some point in the past, since MBC made that claim years ago, but nowadays almost every Music Core performance is lipped

not all the music shows but most. only KBS music banks has live singing occasionally these days
