Clearly that bubbly stuff is not who Twice are, otherwise they as a collective unit wouldn't have moved away from it. Like they actively stay away from it. Folks like me? Once they started doing the Fancys, Alcohol-Frees, Kura Kuras, I finally fully gravitated to them because it felt more genuine to who they were and closer to what they liked plus their choreography KICKED ASS. And what about the great b-sides they wrote during the post Fancy eras? SOS, Basics, Cruel, When We Were Kids. You all missing out on legitimately good stuff if you're not giving it a chance.
And what if they stayed with their bubby concept? There's no guarantee the audience would've stayed and likely Twice don't attract the Western audience to the crazy levels as they have. KPop groups who were bubbly, historically only have about a 4 year shelf life, primarily because the target audience skews far younger and once they get older they're harder to maintain.
I mean I'm sorry they're losing some of you but just because they don't chart as consistently in Korea anymore is not indicative that their new stuff is a failure when it helped grow their audience substantially and is still high quality (I personally argue that it's far better than their old stuff but that's my opinion).
I never said that I didn't like any of the songs that you stated? I even said that they need to go back to making more songs like fancy. I like all of those songs. The one's that I don't like are songs like set me free and I can't stop me which I think are both pretty different from fancy and alcohol free. I just think this direction of songs that are more dark looking I guess, I don't know how to describe it, but those just really don't suit them.
In the end it doesn't really matter if they don't like those concepts, they're still really good at them.

I wish the song didn't sound so American. It feels kinda repetitive too. I just wish he was going in a different direction.
It makes me kinda sad to hear this kind of song because its so far from what bts originally was and I know they will never go back.
Jungkook looks amazing though!! The music video is so fun. I'm hoping he will have many more songs.

The same thing happened in New Jersey. I was getting so annoyed by people holding up their phones the whole time and not even looking at them. The phones can also block other people's view. So once blackpink said something about it I thought it was so funny

new jeans is literally just gross and annoying. I wish companies would stop debuting little girls, not only cause it's weird, but also because kids are just annoying. I'd rather have kpop groups have actual mature real people, I mean think about it, if a kid debuts at 14 or something, how much of a personality could they possibly have? I wish they could debut actual people rather than these kids that probably have no personality other than what they have been taught.

blackpink new video is about korean culture so theres nothing wrong about it but it's really infuriating seeing people being blatantly racist and not even being called out by others
Everyone takes things from other people's cultures. It's not some terrible thing to do, and trying to say that it is actually makes you sound racist because you're saying that all people cannot use and create with other's cultures, which further divides people. If we are all the same then no one should have a right to deny usage of culture to anyone because, as we are all people and the same, we all have equal rights to the cultures of people.
Also you just sound dumb for getting so upset about this, leave them alone. It's not racist, it's literally putting stuff from a culture in a video, which so many people have done! Maybe that statue wanted to be in their video...

The ages are finally sinking down to the maturity level of the music. At least we aren't seeing 25-year-olds in schoolgirl uniforms, anymore.
So you'd rather see little girls in a business that is very centered around commenting on their looks... ok
The school girl uniform is literally one of the most sexualized outfits, I'd really rather not be seeing actual kids wear them.
