Maybe but Newjeans got a lot of hate because of her young age. Imagine how those older girls felt training for 5, 6 years to be replaced by a 14 year old.

Yeah before Newjeans came out, in interviews, MHJ always emphasizes the groups would be only teenagers and would be fresh, which makes people really mad because it discriminates against older trainees. I mean it’s kinda wrong to drop a talented trainee just because she’s not a teenager anymore

Bahiyyih got 3.7 million views on her fancam during Girls' Planet, that's more than any Wonyoung fancam during Produce. And let's not say this is because of her brother because Huening Kai can't even get half a million fancam views. She was ranked first in 115 countries, a record for any survival show. Hit tweets with 100K likes everyday. But instead of pushing her hard like Somi/Wonyoung, Wakeone pushed the flop Korean girls while given Bahiyyih 2 lines and the group ended up the opposite of Izone. Stupid company

Fearnots never fight with any fandom, and even if provoked, they don’t fight back. Meanwhile Bunnies are similar to Armys because they fight 10-20 fandoms at a time, from Armys to Mys to Blinks to even Riize fans and more. Who’s the Blinks, Onces, Reveluvs,… of 4th gen?

A member from Fantasy Boys, Ksoul, got cancelled on Twitter for wearing durags yet the group sells 10 times more than EL7Z UP and Class:y. How is that possible?

Both are SEA girls in a top girl group, Lisa gets hated and is least popular in Korea in Blackpink meanwhile Hanni is the opposite. Why so?

I mean 2NE1 has higher digitals than SNSD when their discography is 1/3 of SNSD. And SNSD never has global hits like “I Am The Best”. They only beat 2NE1 in album sales. So technically, YG has the most successful girl group globally in every gen, but they always lose in sales (Blackpink also has less sales than Twice).

There’s a pattern of YG girl groups beating out the biggest girl group at the time. SNSD was the biggest girl group, but 2NE1 debuts and has bigger hits in Korea and internationally. Twice was also the biggest girl group, and Blackpink also beats them. Now Newjeans is the biggest, Babymonster may defeat them.

3rd gen is happening again: Newjeans/Twice debuted first and becomes nation’s girl groups, hit songs after hit songs, cute/girl next door concept. Many other groups copied their concepts. Then, after many delays YG put out their girl group with girl crush concepts and quickly the nation’s girl group lost hype. Will Babymonster lead to Newjeans downfall and bring back girl crush?
