and in terms of blackpink, it was the year that their most well known gp hit dropped aka d4. it’s still their biggest hit to date, still their most iconic era and choreo, and it was what really put them on the map
i mean imagine 2018 (and subsequently 2019-2021) if blackpink never dropped d4 and the square up project....
their careers might not have ever gotten to these heights. it was their biggest catalyst project
i agree, dx4 era was iconic but i still feel sorry for blackpink that they had to go through that just to beome one of the biggest ggs, but its the korean music industry so i can't do anything about it. 2017 is still my fav cause of the bop aiiyl lol
