Damn she really went from getting her first #1 chart hit as a soloist to winning ROTY for her role in a successful variety show. I believe the first ever for a 4th gen idol right!? Insane.

And just days ago there were hundreds of people outside in the freezing cold just to watch the debut of her 10 min Shinsegae advert. (Which btw was amazing and cinematic thank you shin wooseok).

She really is THE IT Girl of her generation the way she keeps getting variety show calls, huge brand deals and famous industry producers hitting her up. Perhaps an acting project next!? I wouldn’t be surprised if she did I know so many PD’s have spoken about wanting to cast her.

I've been noticing the gap in UL's were decreasing every day. At APT's peak there was a 300K+ gap and now its down to 129K.

Whiplash seems to have amazing longevity I hope she can hold out long enough even if only for an hour at #1

Safe to say that Whiplash is their biggest international hit so far! Peaking higher than Supernova on Spotify and Apple Global too, they are doing so well this comeback!

Both ILLIT and Le Sserafim massively underperformed on domestic charts this comeback.

People can say what they want but you can’t pretend that this scandal isn’t somewhat affecting them. It’s everywhere in Korean media like The Qoo, Nate, Instiz, Daum, Naver etc. Literally all the top posts are about this leaked document attacking other idols. There are some JYP, SM and Triple S training staff posting about it on their IG. (They quoted parts of the doc that were bashing their groups).

When even korean news outlets are reporting on it…yeah I don’t think this is your typical scandal. I fear it’s going to get worse before it gets better especially as the general assembly continue to publish different pages of said document to the public. 20,000 pages…let that sink in.

Officially top 2 on all charts now! If not for Rose & Bruno Mars releasing quite literally one of the biggest songs of the 2020’s (huge bop btw) Whiplash would be having her all-kills right now.

Regardless I consider Whiplash a certified hit. Aespa are just so consistent now it’s amazing to witness especially as they reach new peaks on other platforms like Spotify Global and Apple Music this comeback. Deserved! 🔥

They’re for sure one of the most consistent top 4th gen groups right now. Whiplash numbers are great for just the 1st full day of tracking.
