Winter got a MAMA performance and collab with a DJ. It's too early to say that her popularity is "organic." Korea is always going to favour the visual.
Stop this "Karina is favoured" narrative. She does her job as a FOTG and leader. That's it.

NGL but SM idols in general have some of the worst styling I’ve ever seen.
Black Mamba stages had beautiful outfits, but after that it just went down hill.
What is that first pic though? Walmart version of KTL era yes I said it.
It's techwear and typical baddie clothes. KTL's outfit was a rip off of Tomb Raider (especially, Jennie's) and Aespa's outfit isn't like that at all.

Those outfits weren't that good, imo and I was talking about red carpet looks. The second photo is basically what Aespa wears.

I like the dynamic of these outfits. How they are girly but also girl crush. I want that for Aespa.

I agree. Their music show outfits are pretty but they could be better, especially with their "futuristic" concept.

True. But, I can't see many rookie groups doing showcases and stuff. Especially, from small companies.

Why is Aespa's style so bad? Their stylist/SM seems so indecisive about what aesthetic they want to give them.
Their techwear dance practice was their best styling for Black Mamba, imo and that was a gift for fans. MYs basically styled the girls...

And, I told you why. It's rare for the 4th generation and they probably are singing live but the music show covers it up in editing.

Almost every kpop group uses prerecorded vocals and/or heavy backing track nowadays. It's rare to hear idols breathing into the mic. So, why do you/people only complain about Aespa?
Wait for them to release some covers and unplugged videos before you shade them. It's a known fact that music shows/award shows overlay vocals with the backing track for a "perfect" recording.
I know that they are "an SM group" but it's clear that they aren't your typical SM group. It seems like SM is pushing Aespa as a dance/visual (aesthetic) heavy group more instead of a vocal group.

I don't think all SM idols lipsync but I've noticed that the 4th generation doesn't sing live because they prioritise performance >>> vocals.
There are also different types of "live singing." Lipsyncing is different to prerecorded vocals.
