You implied they were blind. I don't care if you didn't outright say the word, you said their eyes and stuff weren't working. blind. It's not some clever metaphor, it's rude and offensive.

I'm not talking about the rest of the thread because I still have no idea whats going on, and I also think that people have been corrected by others who have handled it better than I could. There is a lot going on, however that doesn't mean i don't have to care.

Also you didn't use a metaphor. You just said that the parts of their eye aren't working. A metaphor is when you describe an action, oject, or person with something they are not/ is impossible. For example, a fall tree is like the setting sun, going dark just to come up brighter than before.
