oooh okay. gotcha. but wouldn't it be the other way around then? it loses meaning when you're from the US but for artists from non-english speaking country it holds more value considering how rare it is to be recognized?? they compete with the whole world to get to grammy. meanwhile, US artists only need to compete with other english speaking artists

I get it when people said grammy is more of a political event these days... but isn't that means what they achieve is the more impressive? BTS never joins US label (only distribution deal with Columbia) and not even from the US, never got any favor from American music industry (see their number of radio spins).

So.. I dont know why the narrative now is that grammy noms means nothing. to largely supported artists from powerful us labels maybe, but not BTS. whatever happens, I'm proud of them.

if it's discography and not some selected tracks, only TXT and AKMU. also hoppipolla but idk if they are considered kpop. (i used to listen a lot to bigbang too)

other than that, some tracks from ggs, seventeen, got7, suju KRY, winner and ikon.

pre-recorded or performance with no audience imo doesn't really showcase their skill tbh. you can say someone has better skills in the dance studio, in recordings, or in a controlled environment but let them perform in front of actual audience is what it is in the end. that's why people stan the artists and not their coaches.

and here's the thing : people underestimate what it takes to do a stadium concert. THAT is performance and stage presence. engaging with and keeping the attention of 90k people is crazy hard to do.
