Really hoping Weverse Japan step up its game. After May 31st, they won't be selling merch through HMV online, HMV stores, Seventeen Japan Shop, and Seventeen JP mobile shop. After that the JP merch will be sold through the Seventeen Weverse Shop. That's gonna hurt since that means no more free shipping and the convenience of picking up merch from Lawson/HMV stores are gone. From what I read and what my J carat friend told me, J carats are PISS.
seems like there'll be a lot of inconvenience, i saw a jcarat saying that svt's sales will definitely drop from june 1st when hybe japan takes over, and i saw the quotes from the svt japan tweet, jcarats seem really angry abt this unneccesary change. i get that they're trying to reduce the 'middle-man' thing to maximise profits but im more worried that it'll affect their sales i hope hybe is ready to manage svt properly in japan bc it seems like hybe japan is relatively new,
all the hybe drama yikes....im just hoping that hybe japan knows what they're doing and promotions for svt in japan will be as solid as it was with lawson and hmv, svt is so big there, although im quite doubtful how weverse shop japan can top the accessibility of hmv which has shops everywhere in japan, but fine, i think at least hybe won't harm svt, so hopefully more profits for our boys too??i rlly enjoyed the 6th anniversary altho there was less content than usual, all my love was lit, but i get why carats are mad, the first thing in the morning was abt merch and later membership handwritten letters, does kinda seem like their anniversary became a bit more, let's just say, 'money-based'??? i also rlly liked the pictures from the 6th anniversary photoshoot, new wallpaper material 
also bittersweet, i was NOT expecting a ballad with 2 rappers but it was so good omg, their vocals were top notched and lee hi's voice was perfect, already on repeat:)
personally for me, holiday starts tomorrow and it's for a month but im just glad i'll have some time to revise for my national exam in October bc past few months have been so packed with new chapters and stuff, and ofc happy that i have more time for svt content and time to enjoy and stream for the comeback, i just hope covid will improve bc all these online lessons really suck 
and i hate being stuck at home all the time

sorry but aji came to my mind first when i saw this thread, sorry aji and gyu....it's such an active dog, rmb that episode when it was just gyu chasing aji the entire show...
please bobpul is so so cute, i wonder why gyu had such a large spectrum(?) of taste in dogs lol, i think bobpul is 2nd place in terms of svt's dogs, kkuma is my fave
although personally, i felt that after the aquisition, a lot of things became 'money-based', more paid content and merch and this change in jap label(?), it doesn't seem like THAT absurb bc i kinda get they need money in replace for the lack of concert income, but i get why carats are mad, they have a point too, everything was coming really fast
and honestly i see no reason why hybe would want to 'eliminate' seventeen (pledis was their only sub label that made profit last year and their jp comeback was really successful, kr comeback next month and so on), and svt is not 'competition' to anyone in their company too
guys, life is way too short to be too concerned abt smt that we don't know and can't control, have a nice thursday:)

with contract renewals soon, the second one could mean anything lol, lowkey looks like them saying the company has to work hard so hybe/pledis won't regret during contract renewal or they already made their decision abt renewal and saying kinda like the company will do it 'without any regret'??the possibilities are endless lol....svt lowkey sus on their anniversary....

fine i guess, exams are over and next month is our holiday but recently we moved back to online lessons so it kinda sucks. but on the brighter side, i have more time to watch all the svt stuff:)
also svt 6th anniversary tmr, i can't wait to see what they've prepared, also so grateful that all 13 of them stayed tgt for that long, and also wonwoo mingyu digital single on friday, this week is going to be so awesome
