Yeah some girl group stans like to put women on pedestal and hold them to high (impossible) standards, which is why male idols have controversies like dui, SA, drugs and what not and female idols get hate when they... eat strawberries.
This would also be interesting topic to discuss.
I think in general women r held to a high moral standard so when they do things that are deemed bad they get dragged an insane amount or are treated harshly compared to men that do the same things.
And then most of the time with men
they get the easy way out and ppl play “of course they’re a man” it’s like just taking the responsibility away from their actions and then they don’t get as harsh a punishment bc they excuse it away with that
But generalizing and associating qualities with gender is bad but most of the world and ppl r raised in that way 😭
