Will check once to see if they’re there. If not, then byeee (will just stream)!

I’m happy.
I miss them doing stuff together.

i also think that 105k means in total. but nonetheless, his crowd was massive
i'm not good with numbers but i'd say it was definitely over 50k. yes? no? i'm terrible at guestimation
His stage and Green Day’s stage definitely had the bigger crowd. But as mentioned before, that 105,000 were divided into 4, as people went to watch the group they wanted to watch (I don’t think they have a way of counting how many specifically went to each stage). I think Green Day also started their gig earlier (8:15pm?) while Hobi started his at 8:50pm. Regardless, all 4 stages had massive crowds in front of them. Jhope’s audience was the best, though, because you can see all the ARMY bombs lighting the night sky.

Actually, 105,000 were the total attendees of Lollapalooza for the day, Sunday. There were 40+ groups/artists that performed that day on different stages and different time. At the end of the day, these attendees went to the “closing stage” that they wanted to watch (there were 4 headliners - Jhope, Green Day and 2 more I don’t remember). Admittedly, there were a gazillion ARMYs there (as seen by the ARMY bombs that lit up the crowd), and there were a lot of attendees that bought their tickets with only Jhope in mind. But we can’t really claim that all 105k tickets sold were for Jhope. And no, I’m not a hater - I was there to support Hobi. I just wanted to clarify.
-
True.
Now they not only have to contend with BTS the group, but also the individual members.
-
Omg were you there?!
We were.
Some ARMY friends and I were there this weekend for Jhope. We decided to watch/support the “Babies” (as Jimin calls them) and were glad that we did. It must have been really scary for them considering 1) the size of the crowd, 2)it was their first time in such a venue, and 3) it was an American crowd.
We did not brave the barricades as MOAs did, but had a decent view of the stage. They were awesome. We (there were quite a few ARMYs there) left feeling great and we could see how happy (and relieved ) their fans were afterwards.

Thank you kpop gods for not putting them in school boy outfits
This.
Before they came out - we were, like, “please, please, no sailor uniforms or cutie outfits.” So glad the “outfit god” listened. They looked amazing.
-
Wow!
They did so well. I was apprehensive right until they started singing. Crowds in big festivals here can be unpredictable - they can go either way.
But TXT did really well. Nothing like a first time in front of a crowd this size. When you nail it and you hear all the screaming and shouting - then you know you have what it takes. Congrats!! And we’ll done MOAs - you guys were the other half of the success coin. 👏👏

His day is literaly the only one which is totally sold out) GA+ were sold out in minutes after announcement of him headlining lollapalooza, few days after vip were sold out, then platinum (lollapalooza added more platinum tickets, but they got sold out again) and some days ago we found out that even numerous cheapest general admission for his day were sold out as well (they added more cheapest general admission tickets later too, but now this option is sold out again) - so don't worry, he will have his fans for support there)
And we are talking not about some idol here, we are talking about the Jung Hoseok aka the King of Stage and Performance. There is a reason why term "hoseoked" exists in every language after concert If there is anyone who is able to handle as a closing act a major audience which consists not from fans only and do it not in his mother tongue it's Hoseok.
Then it will be all ARMYs then.
Sigh…wish I could go, but work dictates otherwise.
Hobi…fighting!!

I hope to God there will be tons of ARMYs during his performance. Music Festival goers here in the US can be toxic sometimes. A lot of people will be fans of other groups/type of music. Since Hobi’s stage will be one of the closing ones (there are 8 stages in the venue), he will perform in front of a huge, huge crowd of music goers that are fans of performers that came before him, and general admission goers that went from stage to stage sampling other performers.
But knowing ARMYs - a gazillion of them will probably just stay in front of his stage the whole day to get prime spots and watch (and enjoy) all the performers that will come before him to wait for the main event.
Good luck, Hobi. 💜💜.

Happy anniversary to group that had held my heart almost from the start. Watched them grow from the Nugus they were and fought hard with them and the first ARMYs back then to give them the recognition they deserved.
Incredible, talented, beautiful boys (both inside and out) that made music that touched so many lives. Now that you have all these accolades, just please be safe, healthy and happy. 💜💜💜

tbh it's not up to you to dictate what they do with their time. you're just a fan, not their boss.
Uhhh… I am just venting my feelings. This is a forum after all.
I am not “dictating” what they should do. I am just expressing how I feel about their latest move.
But go off…

I’m just pissed.
I feel like the members have time to collab/write songs for everybody and anybody, but could only set aside time to do 3 songs with the group . I get about them wanting to expand their solo careers, but they should also give priority to BTS as a group.
A collection album is great and would target all the ARMYs that have have joined the fandom these past years - to give those who are not familiar with their older songs a chance to “experience” them. But it should be a special release, a “reward” album that ARMYs can collect. NOT the album that has been anticipated/longed for for the past year an a half.
3 songs? Seriously? I’m just

Brings back memories.
JUST ONE DAY still one of my favorites. They all look so young here. Taetae (he was still Taetae here since he was such a baby) trying really hard to look like a hottie. Jimin couldn’t even..since he still had those chubby cheeks. And Jungkook was a fetus. The hyung line fared a little better although all of them looked green and fresh and trying so very hard. Sometimes I miss those days when they there were still all these achievements to be conquered.. and all BTS had were talent, hard work and sheer determination. And, of course, ARMY. They’ve come a really, really long way. So proud of them.

Indian ARMYs will always beat you, our biggest strength is our population
That’s true.
As long as it’s for our boys, don’t care where it’s coming from. And may I say that I’m really surprised with the rapid growth in India.
They’d better include you in their world tour leg. I’ve been to some and I always feel like it’s my reward for being a faithful ARMY.

Brazil is a surprising entry, it's never been above. But atleast India beat the US
And all European countries
Nooooooo….!!
I’ll have to stream some more then. I have to get us to number 1.

Really, really love his tone. I could be listening to any BTS song and I would be able to pick his part right away. The main reason why I favored him from the start, and why he’s still my ult bias until now.
Was just watching the official MV and…
