But his album sales and 2023 total streams are still high. More than 3 billions streams on spotify alone, 1B on youtube, almost 3M album sales plus CDs sales and digital sales.
I think his streams alone can compensate those album sales gap from, lets say TXT, doesnt it?

She doesnt get 1M on spotify Thailand chart because the group of Thai fans of her are using a method that causes most of the streams not qualified for chart. Lisa fans admited half of the streams of Money come from a Thai team. And when Money daily streams suddenly decreased in half, her fans said it was due to her Thai team had "a technical issue". Lol

Fans of local artists dont stream hard but Kpop fans do. Streams from Thailand and Vietnam only count for 13% of Seven's total streams meanwhile if you look at, for example, Money from LS, 70% of its stream come from Thailand and almost 60% of it was filtered out.
Its not new that fans and labels find a way to push numbers, be it Kpop or USUK music industry but its weird that THEY often only target at Kpop.
Fans always find a way to inflate numbers to some extents, but at least streams from Army are counted for chart, which means they are not from a group of people looping days and nights.

No, we don’t just be saying anything. I heard about Jungkook’s song, read articles about it, saw the promotion regarding his appearance on the largest morning show in the US. That is what I call heavy promotion. I read articles about the MV regarding a top Korean actress having a role in it. Even Scooter Braun promoted Jungkook in major magazine articles. Jungkook’s name and song were put out there. Probably because everyone knew that Jungkook was always going to be the one who would be the most promotable in the US. Jungkook himself doesn’t need to promote for the song to be promoted.

Other members did several covers on different magazines during their debut but of course some mentions from Scooter on a magazine is a much bigger promotion. People are SO INTERESTED in Scooter that his words are worth a million dollars Promotion.

I just had to jump in. V is having a hard time in the US because he doesn’t promote heavily in the US. Jungkook’s song and video were heavily promoted. I can’t speak on Jimin but I do know that I heard that V was putting out music but didn’t know that it had already been released. The video was not engaging at all and I was surprised at his wardrobe choice. Altogether, it just isn’t something that is going to engage a US audience. It’s too low key.
Its true that V hasnt done any US performances for these 2 pre releases but none of the members did heavy promotion in the US. Most just had 1 stage and one or two interviews. Thats far from being heavily promoted.
Jungkook promoted Seven for just one week with one performance in the US and 2 in the UK. I dont think we can call it heavily promoted, lol. His MV didnt even have a countdown or a premiere. How the fvck was the MV heavily promoted? Yall would be saying anything at this point
