yes thats why lesserafim was the only hybe girlgroup that did not get massive playlisting until crazy.
Perfect night in total has only 61m playlisting. Smart has only 36m playlisting yet it was the most streamed 4th generation girlgroup song last year.
Super lady had 32m playlisting yet the diffrences in total streams is almost 200m.
About spotify discovery......almost all popular groups are using it rt now and we already see how much other kpop group used youtube ads so Do youthink Other groups won't use spotify discovery mode??
This is the trick LSRF don’t have playlists like Illit or NJ but HYBE push when they think their songs can have some longevity. It started with AF it was pulling the same amount of daily streams for months, they didn’t push Unforgiven because it was a flop then pushed PN since easy wasn’t well received they didn’t use discovery mode.
And not everyone discovery mode because it means less royalties.

It seems like an odd choice to debut another group, especially with the recent VHCA controversy. But it's not exactly as if the current JYP groups are mismanaged flops like everyone seems to imply. They may not be charting well but NMIXX and ITZY are still selling tons of albums, so it's not like the groups aren't successful in that way. Same with Twice. In any case, the best promotion in the world cannot change the fact that the music coming out of these groups is mid. In fact I would say MIDZY is a very appropriate fandom name since their fans clearly enjoy mid music.

JYPE doesn't promote their groups right.
SM plays favorites. The rest basically get pushed backstage.
YG is just greedy. They aim for fast success and domination.
Meanwhile HYBE is all of the above but you can't say they don't promote their groups.

Imagine comparing this situation to HYBE which buys groups left and right without putting any effort in term of quality and just invest in some heavy marketing.
Not every group is meant to be successful and I say this as a JYPE hater but no the groups flopping were just an ego boost for JYP

For the longest time, AKP forum has been more about charts than music. It should be renamed to allkcharts.
These 5th gen groups aren’t coming anywhere close to the top groups of 4th gen, which I assume would be NewJeans, aespa, and (G)I-DLE, so a lot of AKP users aren’t interested.
Once a 5th-gen group gets a viral song going like “Cupid,” then they’ll hype the group up even if they didn’t care for the song in the first place.
So why don’t they stan illit ?
Outside of few groups like Rescene or KIOF none of them are interesting.

Twice haters are brain dead this is really weird.
And I disagree with OP Lisa and Jennie have the most distinctive sound and not everything is about lyrics rockstar and mantra are unique songs meanwhile new woman is by far the most interesting song by a bp member and the production is top notch. So no outside of APT, they all chart the same so it’s weird to compare them to rosé when the other didn’t even drop their albums.
