OP made a post yesterday that how Next Level's impact is no way near Dalla Dalla, made threads about how Lisa's solo will give a reality check to Blinks.
No OP isn't aespa stan.
i know, im not talking about them

aespa stans getting too brave on this forum

yall are acting like boomers lmao. short songs have been a thing since forever. listening to old songs, specially from 60s, i noticed the songs are like super short less than three minutes long some even less than two but i suppose at that time it was because of radio, now is about streaming.
the problem is not about a songs length but its quality, many current songs just feel unfinished

the mental gymnastics some people are doing here lmao it's okay, every pop star gets major playlisting
payolaat some point but let's not pretend all her success is from people genuine interest and not her company paying to put her in every playlist on spotify -
japan darlings
-
nagging is one of her best songs!! c a t is also another masterpiece that uaenas barely talk about.

album of the year

you're so funny trying to downplay bts success and even saying something as ridiculous as them being a “niche act” LMAO. no niche act can get a #1 in billboard japan with only digitals beating local acts with huge sales or being the second biggest artist in the first half of the year or break streaming records. btw they're also very present in japanese media obviously not as much as local artists but still.
-
is dun dun dance a hit? (like thats an actual question im not tryna be shady lmao)
prolly bc oh my girl finally had a comeback after nonstop/dolphin and everyone's excited
#2 in biggest music chart and still peaking in uls
-
because oh my girl has the public interest and sometimes, songs just dont click with gp

stream is not the only parameter to measure popularity
neither is a survey and yet you're talking as if it's the only way to measure an artist popularity. even gallup which is considered as “the most reliable ranking in korea" has faced criticism for its inaccurate data.
and fans are people too, their streaming power is limited, not even the biggest fandom can compete against gp, specially in a market like japan where streaming is new and fans arent exactly kwown for it, that's why dynamite is still charting in the top #5 of jp biggest charts while lgo is around top #100 or out.
-
they should not be guided by charts (oricon, billboard), sales, or tours, they should be guided by this ranking
BS
-
i dont particularly like watching mvs or dance practices, i mostly listen to music on spotify but there are a few exceptions like black swan, probably my fav mv of bangtan. the choreo is gorgeousss, especially jimin parts, everytime i watch it i cant take my off him
-
i was so sure it was gonna have the same fate as dynamite... the fact that they did this with only digitals is very impressive. it seems that bb japan has readjusted their criteria or maybe the #2 didnt sell as much as we thought(?)

dynamite bigger than TT?
yes
