they're a bit different, i'll show you what i mean
cases like this are probably because of conservatism, and two people making out with their tongues down each other's throats is too shocking for the 50 year old ajummas and 12 year old school girls that watch dramas
whereas cases like this look like a tsundere thing where people find it romantic/hot when one of the people is stubborn and against the relationship.
I've attended a couple kpop concerts as well as watched many on youtube and other websites and I've noticed a lot of Kpop artists lipsync trough the whole concert and then do a couple sit down ballads live, which feels a bit like a scam... I get lip syncing on music shows, but a concert people paid hundreds, sometimes thousands for is another story. Even official concert DVDs have pre-recorded vocals which is a bit audacious

AKMU of course (I've heard most or all YG artists sing live at concerts)

anyone else? and pls don't just put your faves unless it's true (i feel this should go without saying but you know kpop fans lol...)
Be Natural and it's not even close... Be Natural had lower production value, but that choreography and vocals are everything... RV made that song theirs and it was only their 2nd release
Have you ever heard of Kang Susie before? Most people here don't listen to 90s Kpop, but I thought I would share her because she's really amazing. I think if she debuted today as a solo singer she would dominate today's idols.

She reminds me of IU, lovely visuals, nice voice, and she also wrote a lot of her own songs! Not to mention IU covered her song on masked singer

Lia Kim slayed!! and Hyolyn of course. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang is an unexpected perfect song choice, most people go with 10 minutes, Bad Girls, or U Go Girl but this song is perfect for Hyolyn
If you're not a fan why do you care? Isn't this a fans concern? Why do you care that some group you don't stan does little fan service? As a long time fan i don't mind that much, I'm passed the point of needed to constantly be updated with my faves

IU's korean esteem is hard to rival, especially because a lot of her music is not considered "idol music" so the general public who doesn't listen to idols (which is the majority of people above age 35 in SK) still listens to IU (a lot of non-idol fans and old people listen to BTS too but IU moreso)
that being said the rivalry between Army and Uaena seems pretty chill because ARMYS tend to get more triggered over threats to BTS's Western success these days (hence why they beef with everyone from BP, to Olivia Rodrigo, to Adele)
Their ballad songs flop Depends how popular the group is and if they are more vocal or performance oriented... also think this could be equally said about bgs too
Barely have successful bside tracks No, actually the most popular ggs often have more successful and beloved bsides than most bgs. Blackpink in particular has successful bsides.
Have more non fans than fans Like non-fans that know about them and listen but aren't officially fans? Yes, compared to boygroups
Only the ones from big 3 and survival programs can sell well. Probably
Rap parts in songs don’t fit Not always, also this applies equally to boygroups
Top 3 is BLACKPINK, SNSD and TWICE. Of all time? In that case I would say S.E.S, SNSD, BP looking at the most successful and popular out of all generations.
Blind items like this are useless and boring to me, what's so interesting about an unconfirmed story about a kid we don't even know? If it's true the involved parties should be dealing with it internally and not in the media, it's not like this trainee is a public figure yet
it's a very tough situation. on the one hand they shouldn't be forced to bow as it's a very serious matter in their culture and is comparable to the issue of religious freedom, but then again it's a bit disrespectful if they just stand above everyone while everyone touches their forehead to the ground
