I think it depends where in the world. BTS are truly the ones that got most fans in the western part of the world while BP have certain SEA countries

Big hit would never lmao losing their main source of income all at the same time for around 2 years is absolutely bananas. They might not fail, but they sure as hell won’t do so great.
BigHit and BTS have stated that they film materials months in advance. You are not paying attention if you don’t think BigHit is still going to be releasing new Run episodes and even a whole ot7 album while one, or two or all the members are off to the military. They’ve prepared for this which is also why the company doesn’t participate in these discussions. They can and will survive with BTS going on hiatus for enlistment.

So you admit those KPop companies attended a meeting regarding it while using BTS’ name and success as the catalyst for it when BTS and BigHit had nothing to do with it right? After the first meeting those companies knew BigHit wasn’t interested in the postponement conversation and those companies continued to use the BTS narrative to find ways of getting their own artists’ enlistment postponed.
At the end of the day the industry mooches off of what BTS accomplishes and then leaves them out to get all the backlash for things they don’t personally participate in.

Ya’ll.. if BTS want to enlist (which they will) that’s ok! The whole fandom is accepting of that.
What’s pissing me off is that these companies used Bts as their shield for these meetings that BigHit never participated in which resulted in BTS getting a lot of hate from Knetz and people on Twitter and now they’re petty they don’t benefit from it and want it modified.
It’s annoying how they don’t even partake in stuff like this because they’ve accepted they’re going to the military but they end up being the ones dragged down by the public

So... explain to me why all these companies came together to fight for enlistment exemptions and postponements for their idols, using BTS’ name. BigHit attended not ONE of these meetings. The Ministry of National Defense grants postponement with clear specifications that only artists who received cultural merit awards can postpone and now these companies want to fight to get that revoke.
1. Used BTS name to gain your own idols privilege 2. postponement was announced with rules on how to get postponement 3. You’re mad your idols don’t benefit from it 4. Want to revoke it from BTS.
Karma, karma. I hope this doesn’t change anything just so they can get their own karma. Thank you.

BTS are releasing a single in May. Their Japanese album comes out in June so I am expecting a full comeback with another single and album in July. Taehyung is either dropping this month or the fall with JJK1 late 2021 or early 2022. BTS will basically have this summer on lock

If the anti Asian racist attacks of recent happened in let's say Germany or the Netherlands or even Australia , they wouldn't have acknowledged it at all... Just something I noticed anyways
They’re addressing racism they’ve faced and you want to say this................. goes to show YOURE willing to throw something as important as social justice and racism against Asians to the side as long as you get the opportunity to crap on BTS.

I think this is the first time they’ve personally addressed racism they’ve faced but even then they said their issues compared to others aren’t as big/ important.
I’m so happy they spoke out. They’re the biggest/ most popular Asian artists/ celebrities right now so I know this can bring more attention to the movements and hopefully a bit of comfort to a lot of their Asian fans

Actually looked some numbers up and BP has potential to crack the top 5 depending how they an other artists report their numbers. It’s gonna be exciting!!!
As for the person talking about non-blinks. I’m a non blink and don’t even like their music yet want to see another non-English artist on the list so I’ll be celebrating if they make it.
