For me lip-syncing while sitting or doing a concert is not acceptable. On award shows or with music show dance performances I can understand it, it's the shows image over anything else. I think it's counterproductive to bash because that creates more hurt than change. But I won't ever buy a ticket to these award shows or to an idol"s concert who lip syncs on tour and if more people had that attitude companies would wake up fast and make the right changes. I have no respect for anyone lip syncing on tour because there you have only your fans and the product you promise them on tour is not only your presence but your music too. Even if it's imperfect, I want to hear the real deal. It's alright. Truly.

Yes, I agree with you. I think the love for slice of life may come with adult age or with experience, because then a lot of us understand that one of the most precious happiness is living your everyday life and getting the most out of it. Making amends, solving problems, getting comforted and give comfort. Having that cup of tea or cofee with a slice of cake and chatting an hour with your friend. I even like to read about trauma which I have or had to face because then I feel some kind of kinship even in loneliness.

I think (as a non-fan) that Aespa is wasted as a whole. They have little content, their songs are too talk-rap heavy when they are good singers (and I'm sorry, but not really good rappers), they are in the dungeon so much I am beginning to think they are YG-artists, and their stages were badly made by SM, their choreos are not really fit for a good performance, their company created lip-sync scandals for them with their choices. The girls could do better if the company gave them the right content. IMO, of course. But as much momentum they had they are beginning to lose it.

I am a sucker for a good friendship-family-fanfic. (Maybe because in reality while I do have good friends, I have self-image problems and I love a character who's in a hard place and gets loved into a healthy headspace.) Anywaaaaaaay... so I do like Batman-fanfics too were they work out all of their abandonement problems and get to be a big family. Fanfics are cheaper than a psychologist.
I avoid these y/n ones but I can understand some people feel better while reading those. I think one important factor is to understand the difference between fantasy and reality. If you do then it's alright to live in your head a little. -
Sad thing that this scandal was easily avoidable. The company did not think this through. There was already so much criticism going on because of lip synced performances, I remember Aespa getting constantly bashed and I am not even a fan. This was never gonna slide even if it wasn't IVE. Poor choices, that's the truth.

I think you are overdramatising. IVE is far from done just because one scandal. They must not have fun now but Momoland got dragged trough hell and back and they had many failed comebacks and new scandals (one after another) cultivating into a sinking ship. Plus their company truly tried to remake their only hit and then mismanaged the girls. IVE can still easily restore their image. Now it must feel like everyone is attacking them so it seems big, but it is not. This scandal can be easily temporary. If the company reflects and the girls continue to receive good music then they will make it trough. Many groups dealt with early success hate and bad performance decisions.

I heard that sample so many times, I am tired of it. It's great but it's overused. Of course "I'm blue" is the biggest ear-worm and honestly, I could scream hearing it. General public is getting tired of all the remixes.

I ignore the existence of that song.

I am not too fond of the melodic and harmonic modifications but it was kind of nice to hear this acapella mix. So sad that no reaction it got.

Yes. I love the ears. I'm in heaven!

Great voices but the instrumental is just dry for me. I think it would be a better compliment to their voices if the songs were more melodic. Vibes are mixed between badass and soft kind of r&b romantic(maybie?) and they did the Next Level kind of switching from one type of song to another for a few seconds and it's not bad but neither good for me. The placement of that switch threw me off, it's an unconventional place of the song to do it, might bother the audience with clear expectations about the form of a pop song. I feel like they remained really close to the sound of step back and that's either good for they established identification, or bad because they seem to produce a repeat song.
Blop because they do have superb voices and vocalperformance, but the soundscape lacks a good instrumental and for me is a kind of repeat of Step Back. I think they have so many talents and the company is unable to use it.
IMO of course. If someone enjoys it: don't be disheartened by me!

And seriously, Everything Everywhere All at Once was such a crazy movie experience!

For all the music lovers out there who love complex and exciting musical mixes with emotional drive, some kind of narrative and a lot of year end nostalgia.
What I catched: we have BTS, Jungkook, Blackpink, Twice, Seventeen, IVE, New Jeans, Psy, Jay Park.
And obviously, a lot of mainstream american pop, some japanese tracks, some revisited older bops. Seriously, I love these kind of mashups!!!

People should chill out with the rumor drill. They are adults with their own lifes, choices and relationships. They can date whoever they want, they can have kids whenever they want, have family with whoever they want, and they do not own us any kind of explanation. They should be able to live their lives without the public having to poke their nose into it. IF they do a crime or something illegal, only that is a matter of someone else (aka. the law).
