with old albums and songs re-entering charts and their season's greetings selling an absurd amount... its going to be an interesting year for BTS in Japan

That was very stupid ! BS rollout was shitty, ON too . But they did promote it on talk shows and gave one of the most mesmerizing appearances but it was sadly too late.
In the end.. its pretty obvious ON and Black Swan did its job and brought in many people into the fandom. I mean look at the growth between MOTS:7 and Dynamite. This tends to happen with BTSs songs. The songs that are very much performance songs bring in a lot of fans. so ON contributed to one of if not BTSs biggest growth period in their career

To be fair. It didn't help that BH didn't even release its actual MV until march... so by the time it was performed on music shows.... ON and the rest of the album was released...
Black Swan got like no push, no teasers even.
