It always has been this way. There is no offense. Winter is a competent singer, but in aespa she is not the main vocal. If you listen to aespa albums, especially the title track. Ningning is responsible for most difficult part. She is the more capable singer.

Today is the holiday. Look like most stores won't open and ship albums. aespa is not gona break the record for most sale in a week which is 277k. I believe they are at 257k now. This is unfortunate.

Yea. They won't get pak today either way. Melon gains is not fast enough for daily. I wonder is it a holiday today? The chart is slower than usual.

Oh, I am not thinking of replacing this for Savage. Savage is aespa signature sound. It's such a happy upbeat quality song. I think it's a waste as an aespa bside. It can be a title songs for many GG.

Wow, I think this is a quality title song for many girlgroups especially itzy. The verses kinda similar to most Itzy songs. seriously, I feel if any well known GG release this as a title song, it will be a hit. I feel the chorus is build for most korean taste.

The chorus is so catchy, and the bridge is the one of the best. I think the song have a chance to go viral. It's kinda a waste to put this as a bside. Maybe aespa can create a tiktok signature dance to go with the chorus and promote it.

it depends. I guess in the morning the gap will be around 5 to 6k. Usually, the song drop the most on sunday will gain back more on monday. Justin oppa song is a bit old, so hopefully the gain is not dramatic. Savage drop less, in theory it will gain less, but it's a new song, so the potential to gain more is there.

Basically, there is a chance, but don't hold ur breath.

For people saying many groups have done this before. Have you see lyrics like this? l love you navies? What is synk? What is kosmo? Wtf is Nue-evo. What is black mamba? A snake? A plane or kobe bryant? The hell is Kwangya? Also for aenergy track, they have lyrics about their powers. They even go further and promote their universe with coherent story and their aes counter part. Their MV, album and teaser also feature their aes.

Most group have lore, but it always half ass. Like here, this is our lore, but most of thier songs do not even mention it or barely. I listen to a couple loona songs, I like butterfly especially. I did not know they have lore and similar lore concept until many mention it here.

Like many said, I don't think they follow aespa full on lore concept that never have done before. But I think the way aespa song structure may become a trend because it's never boring.

Sure, it can be that. Listen to their album especially the title track, we know who responsible for the hardest part especially high note.

I think sm is doing a good job here. Leave the hardest part to the strongest singer and distribute line evenly unlike many kpop groups where sometime you have the strongest singer hoarding all the part.

If they did not label it, we all know ningning is. The expectation is main vocal has to take all the part and the hardest part. Sm here is distribute the line more fairly and leave the hardest part to ningning.

Listen to savage you know who is the better singer. Ningning have a stronger vocal and resonate more. Take the last part high note for example. Ningning responsible for the hardest climb in high note.

Sure you can say that sm being fair here because they basically distribute line more evenly.

On the topic of discussion, I enjoyed Savage EP more primarily because I enjoyed more the vocal works they put in it. It is such a solid no skip album and I love how their vocals fit the vibe of the entire album perfectly. It is perhaps among the most cohesive album I have ever heard in a while. Lucid dream, I'll make you cry and Yeppi Yeppi are my top three if I must choose my absolute favourites. Aenergy is also slowly creeping up the top spot but as of now it'll remain in no. 5

See. I told people vocal flexibility add lot to songs. I don't know the term to describe the technique, but it is certainly stand out from most gg albums these days.

Just ignore it lol. The poll prove aespa album is more preferred. I stated my reason above. Objectively, production of aespa songs a league ahead because of the flexibility of aespa vocals. It's more enjoyable because of this. People prefer different things you know.
