I have hope but its honestly unlikely that too much will change. Burning sun and the chat room scandal a few years back changed pretty much nothing in the long run. Although it has given rise to feminists and I believe that women will fight for themselves as we have been for centuries.

Well companies are probably noticing the relatively easy promotion you can get just by having good singers (or just idols singing live, really). Hopefully it keeps going like this because personally I think live singing in particular can really help idols stay confident on a stage.

Netziens will criticize idols no matter how well or bad they do.

I think it might just be that idols are getting into acting a bit later into their career so new people you stan now wont be acting for a bit. Which makes sense, why would you go "waste" time to act by yourself when youre in a new idol group and/or promoting a comeback?
