I hope YG knows what Lisa's demographic for this will be, and allows enough time for hype to build. I feel like she might not make much of a dent in charts in Korea or USA, but that sales and streaming from SEA fans, Chinese fans, and other international fans will be insane.

More people than you'd think can sing Backstreet Boys songs, and maybe even name a member, eons after they disbanded. BTS are the biggest boy group in the world right now, but the majority of people could not sing one of their songs or name a member. Maybe it will happen. I wouldn't bet against Big Hit. But in my country if you asked someone to sing Dynamite, you're probably going to hear the Taio Cruz song if anything.

There is American in her accent when she speaks English. To me (British) she sounds American with a touch of Thai, and also a touch of Australian sometimes which she has picked up from talking with Rose. If people want Lisa to sound Thai when she is rapping in her third language, they're just setting her up to fail. Which I suspect is the goal!

Iggy Azalea is Australian and put on an entirely fake accent. There is no comparison, except to haters who just want to hate..

It's their best song for me. I can listen to it on a one hour loop no problem.

Sorry to say it, but BH have found the winning formula (in the most generic-with-a-twist-of-novelty-pop way, total slap in the face to all their past bangers). Expect more of the same...

I could see her as a beauty ambassador - like that old advert with the girl in the birdcage - Nicole Kidman? She does do glam-romantic very well, some dreamy soft-focus lipstick or perfume cf could be amazing. She's certainly "good enough" for Chanel, if they didn't think so they wouldn't have stayed working with her for this long.

Solo didn't really have a rap part though... It was closer to spoken word than rapping.

I don't like Poppin Star, but they have some awesome songs. I love Eternally and Ghosting and Fairy of Shampoo.
