SM artists are rumored to own around 9% of the company stock...or used to. Unless they acquired more or sold them.

They currently own 14.8% and will do a tender offer for additional 25%. They haven't gotten the shares yet but if successful, they will own about 40% of the company. Also, Kakao owns about 9.05% . Taking out the major shareholders, over 65% shares are held by many people including SM artists and general public. If Kakao does a tender offer too and offers a higher price than HYBE, who knows what will happen.
It's an interesting fight to watch for sure.
